Jennifer Aniston's Filming Struggles: Childbirth Comparison Revealed!
JENNIFER ANISTON Spills Tea on The Morning Show's Hellish Filming Schedule and Her Secret Beauty Routine
In a juicy new interview with Glamour, Jennifer Aniston opened up about the grueling filming schedule of her hit Apple TV+ series, The Morning Show. And let's just say it's not just a 9-to-5 job for this A-list actress.
Aniston, who plays Alex Levy on the show, joined forces with her costars Reese Witherspoon, Marion Cotillard, Karen Pittman, and Nicole Beharie to dish about their experiences working on the series. And trust us, it's not all champagne toasts and Oscar wins. The 56-year-old Friends alum revealed that shooting each season leaves her feeling like she's been put through childbirth – again and again.
"It's every year since I finished the first season, I'm like, 'Well, that's it—I'm dead. That just killed me.' And then you forget," Aniston confessed. "I kind of compare it to what childbirth must be like when my friends are like, 'You just get to forget what it was, and then next thing you know, you're knocked up again.'"
Aniston likened the exhaustion and mental strain of filming The Morning Show to pushing a watermelon out of a tiny little pinhole – without any pain relief in sight. "So I do feel there's something extraordinary about finishing a season and not saying those words of, 'I'm done.' And just knowing that you've got to decompress and walk away from it for a while," she explained.
And speaking of walking away, Aniston revealed that after wrapping up each season, she likes to take a break and do something completely different – like shooting a comedy. "In my case, go do a comedy as fast as possible," she quipped. Guess that's one way to bounce back from exhaustion!
But The Morning Show isn't the only thing on Aniston's plate. The actress also opened up about her beauty routine in the latest edition of Glamour. And let's just say it's not your average "wash, rinse, repeat" kind of deal.
Aniston admitted that she gets regular facials and laser treatments – but there's no confirmation (or denial) on whether she's had any plastic surgery. The speculation is ongoing, especially after a 2021 sighting outside a plastic surgeon's office in Connecticut with her pal Sandra Bullock.
When asked about staying young-looking, Aniston's costar Marion Cotillard jumped in to give her some serious props. "You've made me feel empowered about aging," the French actress said. And Aniston was all smiles: "That means so much to me."
Aniston went on to explain that it's all about having a positive attitude and loving your body, regardless of its age or appearance. "It's a mindset," she emphasized. "So it means a lot to me to hear that from Marion, who I think is a walking beam of sunshine and love and beauty and talent."
But in a 2015 interview with Yahoo Beauty, Aniston had previously spoken out about her reservations regarding Botox. She said at the time: "People think that I do a lot of (Botox) injections, but I don't...I see how it's a slippery slope. All that cosmetic stuff looks ridiculous on me."
Guess we'll just have to keep watching to see if Aniston changes her mind about Botox – or takes up any new beauty trends in the future.
The Morning Show Season 4 is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on September 17, so mark your calendars and get ready for more drama-filled mornings with Alex Levy and company. And in the meantime, we'll be keeping a close eye on Aniston's beauty routine – Botox or no Botox.
