Jennifer Aniston Fires Back at Elon Musk: 'Not Desirable in Any Way'

Jennifer Aniston, 56, spoke about her recent role as news anchor Alex Levy in The Morning Show

JENNIFER ANISTON UNLEASHES HER INNER FURY: Actress Shuts Down Comparisons Between Her Love Interest and Elon Musk

In a scathing interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer Aniston, 56, has made it crystal clear that she's not about to let anyone - including the media - imply that her love interests on screen are even remotely similar to those of her billionaire counterparts. And when asked if her character's beau in The Morning Show reminded her of Elon Musk, the actress let loose with a brutal put-down that left many gasping.

The suggestion was made by an interviewer, who noted the similarities between Paul Marks (played by Jon Hamm), Alex Levy's love interest on the show, and the eccentric billionaire rocket builder. But Aniston was having none of it, quipping, "I don't find him desirable in any way or shape." Ouch! It seems the actress has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to comparisons between her fictional characters and real-life billionaires.

The brutal take down came after the interviewer suggested Alex's love interest reminded them of Elon Musk, 54, due to the pair both being 'daredevil rocket builders'

But what's behind this fiery response? Sources close to Aniston reveal that she's been feeling increasingly frustrated with the constant scrutiny of her personal life, particularly when it comes to her love interests. "She's had enough of being typecast as a 'type' or having people reduce her characters to a simple label," says an insider.

And speaking of labels, Aniston has been linked to wellness guru and hypnotherapist Jim Curtis in recent weeks, with the two spotted vacationing together in Mallorca and Big Sur over the summer. The 56-year-old actress has even gone so far as to follow Curtis on social media, liking his posts and sharing a photo of his book Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide: A Workbook for Coding a New Consciousness.

But what's really going on behind closed doors? Aniston confesses in her interview that she's often torn about what to share with the public and what to keep private. "It's like, do I want to be seen as this 'girl-next-door' type, or do I want to show people my more vulnerable side?" she admits.

And then there's the elephant in the room: Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, the 48-year-old man from Mississippi who allegedly crashed his car into Aniston's $21 million Bel Air mansion last year. Prosecutors claim that Carwyle had been stalking Aniston for years, sending her emails, voicemails, and social media messages before being detained by security.

Aniston finally breaks her silence on the ordeal, calling it "a two-year campaign of harassment and stalking" that left her feeling drained and vulnerable. "People are out of their minds," she says. "Who wants to put that energy out there?"

But what's most astonishing is Aniston's candid admission about the aftermath: "My security detail outside my home is not glamorous in any way - it's a necessity." And let's be real, who can blame her? After all, one has to wonder how many more years she'll have to endure this level of scrutiny before being able to live her life without fear of paparazzi or crazed fans crashing their cars into her gates.

As for Curtis, sources close to the actress say that they're "getting serious" and that Aniston is "thrilled" about the prospect of a new romance. But will she ever let her guard down completely? Only time (and perhaps some good old-fashioned hypnosis) will tell.
