Janice Dickinson Sues ITV Over Injury in 'I'm A Celebrity': Shocking Details Revealed!

Janice Dickinson is suing ITV bosses after she was injured during a fall on I'm a Celebrity

EXCLUSIVE: Janice Dickinson Sues ITV for £££ after Freak Accident on I'm a Celebrity Set!

The drama just keeps coming from the jungle, folks! Supermodel Janice Dickinson is taking ITV to court over injuries she sustained during her stint on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2023. The 70-year-old beauty queen tripped and fell flat on her face while trying to find the loo in the dark, leaving her with head and facial injuries that still linger today.

According to documents filed by celebrity law firm Taylor Hampton, Janice is seeking damages at the High Court for her personal injury claim. And let's just say she's not holding back – or her tongue! In an explosive interview, Janice revealed all about the freak accident that left her battered and bruised.

"I was feeling very insecure because the campfire had gone out, and it was as dark as it could be," she recalled to The Sun's TV Mag. "So I thought: Right, I'll make it to the dunny from memory." But little did Janice know, her nightie-night adventure would turn into a horror movie.

She tripped, flying flat on her face – hair all over her forehead, nose bloody and chin gashed open. "Blood was gushing from all these areas, and there were dirt and stones embedded in my face from the fall," she shuddered. The intense head pain left her moaning and crying like a baby.

Luckily, Janice's campmates Fatima Whitbread and Phil Tuffnell rushed to her aid, picking her up off the floor and helping her back to the campsite. "I was just lying there, moaning," she said, still visibly shaken by the experience. A medic soon arrived on the scene, assessing her injuries before transporting her to a nearby hospital.

Janice (pictured in April) said at the time:'If you look really closely now, there's still an indentation on my forehead, which I don't think will ever fill out'

Janice's husband Robert Gerner flew in from South Africa to be by her side, but his reaction was priceless – or should we say, expressionless? "My husband's face didn't budge when he saw me – it was probably like waking up and seeing me every morning with this wrinkly old pruney face," she quipped. But all joking aside, Janice required serious medical attention, including laser lighting sessions to heal her wounds quickly.

And here's the kicker: ITV, the network responsible for broadcasting I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, was kind enough to cover Janice's medical bills – but now she's taking them to court. "I had to go to a serious skin specialist, who put me under laser lighting five days a week for my wounds to heal quickly," she revealed. "That was costly, so ITV did pony up and pay my bills, thank you very much."

The question on everyone's mind: will Janice get the justice she deserves? Stay tuned to see how this drama unfolds in court!

Meanwhile, I'm A Celebrity... is set to return to South Africa for a second All Stars spin-off series in 2026. And if you thought last year's lineup was hot stuff, wait till you see who's heading back into the jungle! Sources close to the show confirm that Ant & Dec are currently shooting in South Africa with an all-star lineup that includes Gemma Collins, Harry Redknapp, David Haye, Craig Charles, and Ashley Roberts.

But what do we know about the new season? Only this: it's going to be bigger, bolder, and more jaw-dropping than ever before. Stay tuned for more updates from The Scholarly Note (thescholarlynote.com) as the drama unfolds!
