J.Lo's Twins Make Rare Red Carpet Debut with Mom at Kiss of the Spider Woman Premiere
JENNIFER LOPEZ'S REUNION WITH BEN AFFLECK HEATS UP AS THEY SUPPORT EACH OTHER'S CHILDREN AT NEW YORK CITY PREMIERE!
In a shocking turn of events, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's blended family came together to support each other's children at the highly anticipated premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman in New York City. The 56-year-old actress was spotted on the red carpet with her two teenage kids, Max and Emme Muñiz, who are fraternal twins that she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
But what caught everyone's attention was Ben Affleck's presence at the premiere, where he was seen posing for photos with Jennifer and their children. The 53-year-old actor-producer produced the forthcoming movie musical via his company Artists Equity, which also stars Tonatiuh and Diego Luna.
Jennifer filed for divorce from Ben on their two-year wedding anniversary in August 2024, but it seems that their love story is far from over. Despite their split, they have maintained a close relationship, especially when it comes to their children. In fact, Ben has been vocal about his admiration for Jennifer and her kids, calling them "wonderful" and saying that she's an "enormously important, tremendous person with a lot of integrity."
At the premiere, Max stepped out in style, rocking wide-leg khaki pants, a burgundy sweater vest, and a navy, brown, and cream track jacket. He added aviator eyeglasses and punctuated the look with brown loafers. Meanwhile, his sister Emme looked like a total boss in velvet black pants and a cranberry-toned velvet blazer.
But what's really interesting is that Ben's children from his previous marriage to Jennifer Garner were also spotted at the premiere. Violet, 19; Fin, 16; and Samuel, 13, seemed to be having a blast with their half-siblings, Max and Emme. The blended family unit has been making headlines in recent months, with sources revealing that Jennifer and Ben are "remaining friendly" despite their divorce.
In an interview earlier this year, Ben gushed about his children's relationship with Jennifer, saying, "For the record, Jennifer Lopez is spectacular, great to my kids, [and has a] great ongoing relationship with them." He added, "I love her kids. They're wonderful. She's [an] enormously important, tremendous person with a lot of integrity, who I adore and am grateful to."
It seems that Ben's affection for Jennifer extends beyond their children. In fact, the two have been working together on Kiss of the Spider Woman, which is an iteration of the 1993 Broadway musical. The movie wouldn't have been made if it weren't for Ben's production company, Artists Equity, which financed the film.
Jennifer has expressed her gratitude to Ben for bringing the project to life, saying, "The movie wouldn't have been made if it [weren't] for him and Artists Equity...I will always give him that credit." She added, "They financed it. I told him this was the role I was born to play and I wanted to do it, and he was like, 'Okay,' and he helped make it happen."
The Oscar-winning actress is one of eight credited executive producers behind director Bill Condon's $30 million movie, which hits theaters on October 10. Fans have been blown away by Jennifer's performance in the film, praising her "evolution" and even predicting an Oscar nod.
As for Ben, he seems to be enjoying the experience of working with his ex-wife, saying, "This was the first [musical] I was meant to do." It's clear that their love story is far from over, and we can't wait to see what's next for this power couple!
