Isla Fisher Shines at NFL Game in London with Rarely-Seen Son After Divorce Revelations
ISLA FISHER STEPS OUT WITH RARELY-SEEN SON, SACHA BARON COHEN SPLIT LOOMS LARGER THAN EVER!
Isla Fisher made a stylish splash at the NFL match between the Minnesota Vikings and the Cleveland Browns at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Sunday. The 49-year-old actress was spotted chatting with Minnesota Vikings players on the field before the match, but what really caught our attention was her adorable son by her side! The rarely-seen youngster, whom she shares with ex-husband Sacha Baron Cohen, looked like he was having the time of his life as they took in the action together.
Isla, looking every inch the fashionista, rocked a purple Minnesota Vikings jersey, blue skinny jeans that hugged her curves in all the right places, and white trainers. She added a pop of color with a vibrant purple sleeveless cardigan, which perfectly complemented her team spirit. But what really stole the show was her loving interaction with her son - she could be seen laying a comforting hand on his arm as they walked out onto the green together.
The Confessions of a Shopaholic star's appearance at the event comes after she broke her silence on her high-profile divorce from Sacha, which sent shockwaves through the entertainment world when it was announced last year. But it seems Isla is taking the split in stride and has been keeping busy with film projects - including voicing parts in Back to the Outback (2021) and Strays (2023). Her latest on-screen outing is in the 2024 film The Present, marking her first on-camera appearance in four years.
But what's really got tongues wagging is Isla's candid interview with The Australian, where she opens up about her divorce from Sacha. The actress reveals that after picking up the pieces following their split, she began to explore alternative methods of healing - including the Carl Jung method, also known as the Jungian method. This approach focuses on exploring unconscious forces, dreams, symbols, and archetypes with the aim of achieving self-understanding, integration, and fulfillment.
However, Isla admits that this process wasn't exactly a magic solution for her. 'This is totally personal, and I say this with the caveat as it worked for me,' she shares, 'but the concept of processing stuff and taking your time, thinking about it again and again... you don't really feel better that way.' Instead, Isla chose to keep moving forward by throwing herself into her work. She explains how she started saying 'yes' to any opportunity that came her way - whether it was a film project or a community initiative.
The Wedding Crashers star reveals that this 'parental power pause,' as she calls it, has given her the chance to reinvent herself creatively and focus on her passions once again. 'It's amazing to me that at this point in my life I've got this opportunity, in a positive way, to reinvent what the last act of my life is now from the ground up,' she gushes.
But don't get it twisted - Isla makes it clear that motherhood will always be her top priority. 'I didn't fall out of love with acting during my hiatus from the screen; I was just more in love with motherhood, and still am.' She adds, 'Now, thanks to the extra time co-parenting brings, I can do both.'
With Isla's latest outing sparking curiosity about her personal life and Sacha Baron Cohen's whereabouts, we can't help but wonder what's next for this Hollywood power couple. Will they put their differences aside and work towards a peaceful co-parenting arrangement, or is there still more drama to come? Only time will tell!
