Meghan Markle Gives Glimpse into Lavish Montecito Mansion, Hints at Potential New Home Goods Collection

In a rare and intimate look inside her $14 million California mansion, Meghan Markle has treated her 4.2 million Instagram followers to a sneak peek of her opulent living room. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, shared the luxurious space with her fans on Friday, complete with an elegant floral arrangement, a slumbering beagle named Mia, and a stunning cream armchair.

But it wasn't just the cozy atmosphere that caught our attention - Meghan's post was also filled with subtle hints at a potential new direction for her lifestyle brand, As Ever. The mother-of-two showcased a one-of-a-kind white stone vase, embellished with the As Ever logo, which was actually created for the set of her Netflix show "With Love, Meghan." However, according to sources, Meghan has no official plans for a new homeware collection - at least not yet.

Insiders close to the Duchess revealed that she had indeed hinted at expanding her brand into home goods and fashion in the past. In an interview with Inc magazine last April, Meghan dropped a subtle hint about her future plans, saying: "I hope that people see that reflected in whatever it is that I’m creating and putting out there... It’s just an extension of me."

But don't be surprised if you start seeing more As Ever-branded items on store shelves soon. Sources close to the brand have confirmed that Meghan has been meeting with designers and manufacturers to discuss potential new product lines.

And it's not just about home goods - Meghan's post also contained a royal nod, as she wrapped her garden roses in Queen Anne's lace, a classic British flower arrangement. The Duchess captioned the photo: "Delphinium, Nigella, Veronica - meet As ever. With garden roses and Queen Anne's lace (and a very sleepy Mia). Looking lovely, ladies," she said, referring to her flowers.

But what really caught our eye was the $2,000 Hermès throw sitting on the armchair next to Mia. And if you thought that was extravagant enough, just look behind the chair and you'll spot a stylish patio complete with a chic outdoor chair and table, as well as a canopy of lush greenery.

It seems like Meghan is really getting into the swing of things in California - after all, she and Prince Harry have been making headlines lately for their various charity endeavors. Just this week, it was announced that the couple will be heading to New York City next month to accept an award for their mental health advocacy work.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will receive the Project Healthy Minds' Humanitarians of the Year Award on October 9 in recognition of their tireless efforts to create a safer online world for families and young people. They'll also be stepping out for another engagement together the next day, attending Project Healthy Minds' fourth annual World Mental Health Day Festival.

In a statement released by the couple's representatives, Meghan and Harry expressed their gratitude for the award, saying: "Working with families and young people to prioritize safety online has been some of the most meaningful work of our lives. As parents ourselves, we have been moved to action by the power of their stories and are honored to support them."

But what really caught our attention was Meghan's post earlier this week on her brand's Instagram account, featuring a photo of her posing with her two pet dogs in a stunning yellow maxi dress. The caption read: "Crisp air, blue skies, and the sweetest moments," and it seems like the Duchess is really embracing her new life in California.

Speaking to The Cut in 2022 while giving them a tour of their Montecito mansion, Meghan revealed that she and Prince Harry were drawn to the property because of the two Dr. Seussian palm trees that grew right in the center of the lawn. "One of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house was those two palm trees," she said. "See how they’re connected at the bottom? He goes, 'My love, it’s us.'"

It's clear that Meghan is really making the most of her new life in California - and who can blame her? With her stunning mansion, beautiful children, and devoted husband by her side, it seems like she's truly living her best life.

But don't get too comfortable, folks - we've got a feeling that Meghan Markle has some big plans ahead for As Ever and beyond. Stay tuned!
