Inside Fox News: Jeanine Pirro's Explosive Texts Reveal Friction with Sean Hannity
FOX NEWS FRENZY: Jeanine Pirro Exposed for Her Sordid Text Messages and Alleged Trump Pardons
In a shocking revelation, Fox News host Jeanine Pirro has been slammed by fellow network personalities as an "egomaniac" in text messages obtained by The Washington Post. These juicy exchanges are part of a $2.7 billion lawsuit filed against the network by Smartmatic, a voting technology company that claims Pirro spread false election conspiracy theories to support her friend Donald Trump.
The explosive documents paint a picture of Pirro's tumultuous tenure at Fox News, where she allegedly peddled baseless claims about election fraud and colluded with Trump associates. One of these associates was none other than Sidney Powell, the embattled lawyer who claimed Dominion Voting Systems had rigged the 2020 presidential election.
Pirro's Ego Takes Center Stage
The text messages reveal Pirro's petty squabbles with fellow Fox News host Sean Hannity, whom she branded an "egomaniac" after he stormed into a meeting in the Oval Office. The incident occurred on October 27, 2020, and was witnessed by none other than Donald Trump himself.
"'[Hannity] stormed in like he owns the place, throws his papers on the Pres desk and says, you don't mind if I use your private bathroom, and walks into bathroom within Oval and uses it,'" Pirro wrote to a friend. "Looks at me and says, I got to talk to him … It's all abt him, period. No one else matters.'"
Pirro's Text Messages Reveal a Web of Corruption
But the text messages don't stop there. In another exchange with Ronna McDaniel, then-RNC chair, Pirro boasted about her role in promoting Trump's agenda on Fox News: "I work so hard for the party across the country," she wrote. "I'm the Number 1 watched show on all news cable all weekend. I work so hard for the President and party."
However, this isn't the only instance where Pirro appears to be motivated by self-interest. In a separate exchange with Eric Trump, her son-in-law, Pirro expressed her disappointment that Bernard Kerik, a former New York City police commissioner, received a pardon from Donald Trump while her husband Albert Pirro did not.
Pirro's husband had been convicted of tax-related crimes and served 17 months in prison. In the same exchange, she complained about Kerik: "I DON'T CARE [ABOUT] ANYONE ELSE."
The Pardon-Gate Scandal
It seems that Pirro's concerns about her husband's pardon weren't just about justice – but also about her own standing with Trump. After being told a pardon for Albert was not assured, Pirro brushed off Kerik as a "selfish b*ard." This raises questions about whether Pirro used her influence to secure a pardon for her husband.
In another instance, Pirro texted Sidney Powell: "'It's Jeanine P.,' she wrote in a November 10, 2020 message that mentioned Dominion Voting Systems. 'Got a former CIA chief of station who knows [about] development of Dominion.' Keep fighting,' she went on to tell Powell."
Pirro's Producer Warns Her About Election Conspiracy Theories
But Pirro's producer, Jerry Andrews, was reportedly warning her to stay away from claims of election fraud on-air. In response, Pirro complained in all-caps: "I'M TIRED OF THE CENSORSHIP AND I'M EMBARRASSED BY HOW THEY CALLED THIS ELECTION."
The Aftermath
It's not just Pirro who's facing scrutiny – the entire Fox News network is under fire for its handling of election conspiracy theories. Smartmatic's lawsuit alleges that Fox News allowed these unfounded claims to spread, causing harm to the company and its reputation.
In a statement, Fox News slammed the suit, claiming that "the evidence shows that Smartmatic’s business and reputation were badly suffering long before any claims by President Trump's lawyers on FOX News." However, The Los Angeles Times reported yesterday that federal prosecutors have filed corruption charges against Smartmatic executives for allegedly bribing government officials.
The Scholarly Note: A Web of Corruption Unfolds
As the lawsuit continues to unfold, one thing is clear – Jeanine Pirro and Fox News are at the center of a sordid web of corruption. The text messages obtained by The Washington Post paint a picture of a network where self-interest and ego took precedence over fact and truth.
In the words of Pirro herself: "I believe that there's been no showing that Smartmatic engaged in any problems." But as the evidence mounts against her, it's clear that Pirro has some explaining to do.
