And it seemed that everyone had a role to play - including Bezos' children from his previous marriage to Mackenzie Bezos. Preston (25), one of their sons, was reportedly in attendance, although sources close to the couple have been tight-lipped about the details.

But not all attendees were there to celebrate the happy couple's love for each other. Ari Emanuel, a Hollywood power broker and friend of Sanchez's, was seen rubbing shoulders with his wife Sarah Staudinger, a fashion designer and friend of the bride. The presence of Emanuel, who has previously clashed with Sanchez's ex-husband Patrick Whitesell, raised eyebrows among some guests.

Whitesell, it seems, is still hurting from the split with Sanchez, whom he married for 14 years before she began an affair with Bezos. Sources close to the couple claim that Whitesell and Emanuel have a long-standing feud, which may explain why Emanuel was invited to the wedding despite his complicated history with Sanchez's family.

But not everyone was impressed by the extravagance of the wedding. A Twitter account for Caraceni Sartoria, a leading bespoke tailoring house, slammed Bezos' tuxedo as "the most terrible, frightening, horrible tuxedo ever seen in my life." Ouch!

As for the honeymoon? Forget it - at least, not yet. Sources close to the couple claim that they're taking things easy with their combined seven children from previous relationships. A "familymoon" of sorts, where everyone gets to relax and recover together.

But the celebration didn't end after the wedding - oh no! The night after party, dubbed "Dolce Notte", was a pyjama-themed bash that many guests took very loosely. Sanchez-Bezos herself turned up in a stunning pink Atelier Versace dress, complete with crystals and hand pleated skirt.

And then there were the performances. R&B star Usher took to the stage, along with a gospel choir and singer Matteo Bocelli (son of Andrea Bocelli). Ellie Goulding even made an appearance, belting out a tune for the adoring crowd.

It was the ultimate wedding party - but not everyone got the invite they were hoping for. Socialite Wendi Deng, formerly married to Rupert Murdoch, was spotted among the A-list guests, as well as Netflix boss Ted Sarandos (yes, that's right - Amazon and Netflix are rivals!).

But perhaps the biggest surprise of all was the presence of British singer Orlando Bloom. Was he there for the music or just for the drama?

So what does the future hold for Bezos and Sanchez-Bezos? Sources close to the couple claim that they're taking things easy with their kids, but perhaps not exactly the way we might have expected.

No fancy romantic getaway or secluded island retreat - just a relaxing family vacation where everyone gets to unwind together. But who knows? Maybe this is just the beginning of an epic love story for the ages!
