SCANDALOUS! Honey Boo Boo Involved in Car Crash in Denver - But Don't Worry, She's Okay (For Now)

In a shocking turn of events, reality TV star Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson was involved in a car crash in Denver on Friday while heading out to run errands. The 20-year-old was pulling out of her driveway when another driver, who admitted to speeding down the road at 40mph, T-boned her vehicle.

According to Mama June, Honey Boo Boo's mom, the accident occurred on the driver's side and left our beloved reality TV star feeling battered and bruised. But don't worry, folks! Mama June assures us that Honey Boo Boo is "okay" and "resting" after the incident.

Her mother Mama June shared the news in an Instagram video and explained it was her daughter's 'first car wreck' but emphasized that she is 'okay' and 'resting'

In an Instagram video filmed by Mama June while she was at the airport, ready to board a flight to Denver to be with her daughter, she broke down the shocking details of the crash. "Honey Boo Boo was just leaving my house when it happened," Mama June explained. "She's fine, but she's got some back pain and headache issues."

The reality star also gave credit to the other driver, a 23-year-old male, who admitted to not paying attention while speeding down the road. "He said he was going 40mph, and probably wasn't paying attention," Mama June revealed.

But what's even more alarming is that this isn't Honey Boo Boo's first car crash experience. Back in 2014, she was involved in a wreck with her family when she was just a teenager. At the time, her dad Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson was driving and allegedly struck by another vehicle while making a left turn.

However, she gave the 23-year-old male driver 'credit' because 'he admitted that he was going 40mph and probably wasn't paying attention'

In a shocking twist, Honey Boo Boo recently spoke out about the incident, suggesting that it may have been intentional on her father's part. "There were times when my dad would just get super angry and let his anger issues get the best of him," she told Us Weekly. "You never really knew what was going to happen."

But we're glad to report that Honey Boo Boo is okay - for now! She's currently recovering at home after being discharged from the hospital, where she received treatment for her injuries.

And what about the drama surrounding her dad? Well, let's just say it's been a while since they last spoke. "I don't even know the last time I talked to him," Honey Boo Boo admitted in an interview earlier this year.

Mama June said that her daughter 'is banged up a little bit but other than that she is OK first car wreck'

But we're not here to dwell on the past - we want to focus on the present! And what better way to do that than with a juicy scoop? It turns out that Mama June was so shaken by the news of her daughter's car crash that she decided to hop on a flight to Denver to be with her.

"I'm headed to Denver to get Honey Boo Boo's rental car and get her set," Mama June explained in her Instagram video. "It could have been a lot worse, but thankfully it wasn't."

And speaking of drama, fans of the reality TV star are still buzzing about the recent Lifetime documentary film that dramatized Honey Boo Boo's life. The film premiered on May 17 and garnered mixed reviews from critics.

The TV personality told TMZ that she was very 'thankful' because if Honey Boo Boo had pulled out of the residence just moments earlier, 'it would've been a whole different visit'; seen in May in NYC

But what do we think? Well, let's just say it's been a wild ride for our beloved reality TV star. And with this latest car crash drama, it looks like the drama isn't over yet!
