American journalist Megyn Kelly broke down in tears on her live show when she discovered that Charlie Kirk, the Conservative influencer, had passed away after being shot

EXCLUSIVE SHOCKING SCENE: Conservative Influencer Charlie Kirk Assassinated on Live Stage

In a devastating turn of events, 31-year-old Conservative influencer and close ally of President Donald Trump, Charlie Kirk, was gunned down in cold blood at a packed rally in Utah yesterday. The shocking assassination sent shockwaves across the nation as thousands of attendees fled in terror.

The horrific incident occurred during an event at Utah Valley University where Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was addressing a crowd of around 3,000 people. Videos posted on social media show Kirk, who was known for his fiery speeches and unwavering dedication to conservative values, speaking into a handheld microphone when suddenly he slumped forward, struck by a fatal shot to the neck.

"It's like something out of a movie," said eyewitness Sophie Anderson, 45, who stood just 100 feet from the stage. "I was standing there with my boss, Phil Lyman, a former Utah state representative, and we were all excited for Charlie's talk when suddenly I heard this loud bang. The next thing I knew, he fell over and it was like a fountain of blood."

Anderson, who joined Anderson at the event along with her boss Lyman, said she almost got trampled as people rushed to flee the scene. "It was chaos," she described. "All these kids were just falling apart, bawling their eyes out. It was a nightmare come true."

The fatal shot was fired from the top of the Losee Centre, approximately 200 feet away from where Kirk was speaking. Witnesses described the suspect as having fled across the rooftop, with one video posted on social media showing him dashing across the roof.

Kirk's wife, Erika Frantzve, and their three-year-old daughter and 16-month-old son are said to be in a state of shock following the tragic event.

"I'm still trying to process what happened," said Anderson. "It was like time stood still. I couldn't believe my eyes."

As news of Kirk's assassination spread, President Trump took to social media to express his grief and anger at the heinous attack. "I am filled with grief and anger at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk," he wrote. "This is a dark moment for America. My administration will find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity, and to other political violence, including the organisations that fund it and support it."

The investigation into Kirk's murder is ongoing, with police saying they have identified two individuals who were arrested in connection with the crime but have since been released. The authorities are still searching for a suspect believed to be responsible for firing the fatal shot.

"This was a targeted attack," said Utah's Department of Public Safety. "We urge anyone with information about this incident to come forward and help us bring justice to Charlie's family."

Megyn Kelly, close friend and fellow Conservative influencer, took to her live broadcast on YouTube, where she is subscribed by over 3.8 million viewers, to break the news to her audience. "Oh good God, he's dead," she sobbed, her voice shaking with emotion. "It's official, it's from the COO of Turning Point."

Kelly read out the confirmation of Kirk's death posted on X (formerly Twitter) by Turning Point USA. "I am so sorry to be bringing you this news," she said between tears. "I am sorry for what it means for our country, for Charlie – poor dear Charlie and his family. I am sorry for what it's going to mean for the debates that we have yet to have – that he would have won, he would have put everyone to shame on, as he had been."

Kelly continued, "And I'm angry, really f*ing angry about how this happened, why this happened, and why we don't have a person in custody. This is a dark day for America, and it's a wake-up call that we need to take action against the violence that has been plaguing our nation."

As the investigation continues, one thing is clear – Charlie Kirk's assassination will not be forgotten anytime soon.
