Glen Powell's Uncomfortable Hollywood Encounter: Who Was the 'Toxic' Star?

Glen Powell is lifting the lid on an uncomfortable Hollywood encounter with a celebrity who had recently been 'canceled' ¿ and fans are already frantically speculating about who it could be

HOLLYWOOD EXPOSED: Glen Powell Spills Tea on Shocking Encounter with Cancelled Celeb!

Glen Powell is dishing out the juicy details of a cringe-worthy encounter he had with a once-beloved celebrity who's been "canceled" in the eyes of the Hollywood community. The actor, known for his roles in Top Gun: Maverick and Anyone But You, opened up about the awkward run-in on Jake Shane's Therapuss podcast, leaving fans guessing about the identity of the offending star.

During the episode, Powell revealed that he was thrilled to meet the A-lister at a high-profile party, where cameras and press were in abundance. However, things took a turn for the worse when a photographer asked them to pose together. "I was being nice, but then I realized, 'Ooh, this is a bad idea,'" Powell confessed.

On Wednesday's episode of Jake Shane's Therapuss podcast, the actor revealed he was caught off guard when the unnamed star, once one of his favorites, approached him at a party

The actor claimed that the celebrity's presence was like a "toxic" cloud, eliciting a visceral reaction from those around him due to their questionable past behavior. Powell made it clear that he wasn't a fan of the star's choices and implied that they shouldn't be taken seriously in public.

In a scathing comparison, Powell likened the situation to his own role as Russ Holliday in Chad Powers, where the character gets canceled for making a mistake but later tries to redeem himself. "Russ is just a guy who made a mistake; he's not a bad person," Powell emphasized. However, when it comes to some celebrities, he joked, "They should lie where they're shot."

Fans are now speculating wildly about which celebrity might be the subject of Powell's story. The names being bandied about include Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer, Chris Pratt, Ezra Miller, Will Smith, and Russell Brand – but so far, none have been officially confirmed.

'I showed up to the party and there was somebody that had been on the ropes in terms of getting canceled,' Powell, 36, shared

Powell's appearance on the podcast comes just a day after he appeared as Jimmy Kimmel's first guest following his nearly week-long suspension over comments he made about conservative activist Charlie Kirk's death. During their chat, Powell revealed a heartwarming story of how he got his start in Hollywood with the help of Kimmel and his producer Diane Kelson.

As it turns out, when Powell was struggling to make ends meet, he would often sneak into the Jimmy Kimmel show's green room to grab snacks. "When you can't afford snacks or alcohol, I could always come to the Jimmy Kimmel show and have my feast," Powell chuckled. Kimmel playfully joked that Powell had essentially saved his life by providing him with free food.

The story has sparked a new wave of interest in Powell's upcoming series Chad Powers, which will premiere on Hulu on September 30th. In the show, Powell stars as Russ Holliday, a football player who disguises himself as Chad Powers to revive his career after making a mistake that ended his college days.
