The film, directed by the illustrious J.J. Abrams (Cloverfield, Star Wars), is set in a futuristic New York – or at least, that's what Glasgow has been transformed into for filming! The streets have been given a futuristic makeover, complete with bizarre signage, faux brick walls, and even a makeshift subway entrance.

As if the excitement of seeing these A-listers wasn't enough, fans can look forward to the star-studded cast, which includes the talented Jenna Ortega (Wednesday Adams from Netflix's hit show). With Warner Bros behind the project, this one is sure to be a blockbuster!

But here's the kicker: Powell has a bit of a history with Glasgow, having filmed scenes for Edgar Wright's reboot of 1987 action flick The Running Man back in the day. And if you thought that was impressive, just wait until you see what he and his co-stars have been up to on set!
