Gerard Butler and Morgan Brown: Love Rekindled at LAX!

Gerard Butler and his girlfriend Morgan Brown weren't letting the stress of airport travel keep them from flashing a smile on Friday

Gerard Butler and Morgan Brown's On-Again, Off-Again Romance Heats Up!

It looks like Gerard Butler and his longtime girlfriend Morgan Brown are back on track... again! The lovestruck couple was spotted jetting out of Los Angeles airport on Friday, flashing broad smiles as they embarked on their latest adventure together.

Gerard, 55, and Morgan, 54, a real estate investor and interior designer, have been in an on-again, off-again relationship since 2014. But despite the breakups and makeups, it's clear that these two are still smitten with each other.

The couple were stylishly dressed for their flight out of LAX

Morgan looked stylishly casual in a soft and cozy ensemble consisting of brown leggings and a matching slouchy top. She wheeled her suitcase about, looking like a seasoned traveler, while keeping what appeared to be her boarding pass handy.

Meanwhile, Gerard opted for a more adventurous look, donning a wide-brim hat and a beaded necklace that peeked out from under his partially unbuttoned shirt. Talk about making a fashion statement!

But what's really behind their on-again, off-again romance? Sources close to the couple have revealed that Gerard has struggled with commitment issues in the past. In 2016, they called it quits, only to get back together the following summer.

Their second breakup occurred in August 2020, when a source told thescholarlynote.com that the duo was "handling the breakup with maturity." Apparently, their inner circle felt they were better off as friends post-split. Gerard's reason for ending things? He allegedly couldn't fully settle down with Morgan and commit to a serious relationship.

But it seems like Gerard has been doing some soul-searching since then. In an interview with thescholarlynote.com, he opened up about the heartbreak, saying: "I went through a break-up during corona so I lost a loved one in a different way, and that's been very hard, much harder than I thought."

Fast forward to 2021, and Gerard and Morgan were spotted packing on the PDA after their latest breakup. But just when fans thought they were done for good, they showed up together at the How To Train Your Dragon premiere in LA in June.

Gerard has been open about his desire to start a family with Morgan, even admitting that he wants one or two kids in five years' time. In an interview with thescholarlynote.com, he revealed: "In five years I want to be in a relationship. I'd love to have one or two kids — it's about time."

However, his hectic work schedule has made it tough for him to balance his career and personal life. He told thescholarlynote.com that he effectively has "no personal life" due to his busy filming commitments.

But it looks like Gerard is back on track with Morgan now! And who knows? Maybe they'll tie the knot soon or even start a family together. Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure: these two are still head over heels in love!

As for recent rumors of a romance with Sports Illustrated star Penny Lane, it seems like that was just a brief fling. After all, Gerard and Morgan were spotted strolling through Primrose Hill together last year, sparking speculation about their relationship status.

But it looks like they're putting those rumors to rest now. With their latest airport adventure, it's clear that these two are more in love than ever!
