George Clooney's $500M Reality: 'Living a Normal Life' with Multiple Mansions

George Clooney told the Daily Mail that his life is 'normal,' despite attending his movie premiere at the New York Film Festival on Monday night

GEORGE CLOONEY: THE HOLLYWOOD HEARTTHROB WHO CLAIMS TO LIVE A "NORMAL" LIFE

The $550 million dollar power couple, George Clooney and his stunning wife Amal, are living their best lives - or so it seems. But don't be fooled by the lavish lifestyle they lead, because according to George himself, he's just a regular guy trying to keep things normal amidst all the glamour and glitz of Hollywood.

At the recent premiere of his new Netflix film, Jay Kelly, the 64-year-old Oscar-winning actor was spotted on the red carpet looking dapper in a blue suit. When asked by TheScholarlyNote.com if he craved normalcy like his character, George revealed that, yes indeed, he does have normalcy in his life - and it's all about getting down to business as usual.

The A-list actor was joined by his wife Amal Clooney, who wore an Oscar de la Renta mini dress

"I drive my kids to school every morning," he shared with a charming smile. "I have normalcy - except for this!" He chuckled, pointing out the chaos of the premiere event. "They didn't come to the set much," George continued. "They came a couple of times. I try to keep the kids away from that experience right now."

It's no secret that the Clooneys have kept their eight-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, largely out of the spotlight since their birth in 2017. But sources close to the family reveal that it's not just about protecting them from the harsh glare of fame - it's also about shielding them from what George calls a "pampered" life.

The actor has been candid about his own experiences growing up, saying he didn't become famous until much later in life. "I was lucky," he said. "I got to see how little success has to do with you." He went on to describe the regrets that many stars experience, and how he's managed to avoid them. "When you're young and you get success, you just think you're a genius," George mused. "You get older, you think, well, luck played a big part in it."

Meanwhile, Amal Clooney, who attended the premiere looking stunning in an Oscar de la Renta red floral mini dress, has spoken out about the importance of balance in their lives. As a human rights lawyer and devoted mother, she believes that prioritizing family time is essential.

"It's not easy," Amal admitted to TheScholarlyNote.com. "But we make it work." She went on to reveal how George has been an incredible partner throughout her career, always supporting her endeavors without hesitation. "He was the first one to say, 'I know you've got this speech at the Security Council. You have to go, I've got the kids, don't worry about it,'" she recalled.

As for the new film, Jay Kelly, which hits theaters on November 14 and Netflix on December 5, George has high praise for his co-star Adam Sandler. "He's a dear friend," George gushed. "We were thrilled to work together." And when asked about their chemistry on screen, George quipped, "Well, it was a love scene they cut out that really helped make the chemistry."

But what about the rumors of tension between the Clooneys and their co-stars? Insiders claim that George and Amal have always made an effort to maintain good relationships with those they work with. "It's not just about the project," one source revealed. "They genuinely care about the people they collaborate with."

In contrast, Adam Sandler brought his entire family along to the premiere - wife Jackie and daughters Sadie, 19, and Sunny, 16. "George Clooney was extremely kind to me," Adam praised on the red carpet. "He's a wonderful actor, comedian, and just a great soul."

As for George and Amal's upcoming projects, they're reportedly working on several high-profile ventures together - including a new production company that will focus on social justice issues.

One thing is certain: this power couple knows how to balance work and life with style and panache. So, who are we to believe? George Clooney or the rumors of his luxurious lifestyle? One thing's for sure - only time (and maybe a few more interviews) will tell.

The Clooney's also own a 17th-century mansion on the English island of Sonning Eye. The couple reportedly paid $13 million for the stunning home on the River Thames (pictured)
