SHOCKING CAREER CHANGE: FROM MTV STAR TO WALL STREET POWER PLAYER

Get ready for a jaw-dropping career transformation that will leave you speechless! Former MTV darling Kim Stolz, who rose to fame in the early 2000s as a correspondent for MTV News, has traded in her microphone for a briefcase and is now raking it in on Wall Street.

The 42-year-old television personality, who was once known for her edgy style and sharp tongue, has made a drastic pivot from the world of fashion and entertainment to become a high-flying private client advisor at Bank of America Private Bank. And let's just say she's crushing it!

The television personality quit the industry to pursue a career on Wall Street

In an exclusive interview with Business Insider (thescholarlynote.com), Kim revealed that she was feeling unfulfilled in her previous career, which included appearances on reality TV shows like America's Next Top Model and numerous modeling campaigns. "I didn't want to be stuck in the reality TV bubble," she confessed. "I wanted something more substantial."

And so, she took a leap of faith and landed an internship on a trading desk at BTIG. "It was a wild ride from the get-go," Kim recalled with a laugh. "But I knew it was what I needed to challenge myself." Fast forward four years, and she's now a senior player in the world of finance.

Kim's journey to the top has been nothing short of meteoric. After working her way up through the ranks at BTIG, she made the jump to Citi before landing the coveted role of prime brokerage sales at Bank of America. And it's clear that she's loving every minute of it!

Before banking, she featured in several modeling campaigns and made several TV appearances

"I'm not going to lie, I've loved every minute of it," Kim gushed in the interview. "It takes a lot of the qualities that I think made me successful on Wall Street to begin with – like networking and business development – and kind of wraps them all up together in a way."

But what's even more remarkable is how Kim has used her platform (both old and new) to advocate for social justice causes. As one of the first openly lesbian contestants on America's Next Top Model, she paved the way for others to follow in her footsteps.

"I never cared about fame or aspired to be a public figure," Kim explained in an interview with Autostraddle (thescholarlynote.com) back in 2009. "But I do like that I've been able to use my tiny amount of fame to change things in some ways and to speak out for equal rights and other political causes."

These days, Kim is a high-flying private client advisor at Bank of America Private Bank

And it's clear that Kim's commitment to making a difference hasn't wavered. In recent years, she's become an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and has used her platform to amplify marginalized voices.

So what advice does Kim have for others looking to make a similar career transition? "When you change roles, you need to know that there's someone in your corner who will help you navigate your way through and support you when you need it," she emphasized. "And don't be afraid to take risks – it's often the best thing you can do for yourself!"

As we look back on Kim's remarkable journey, one thing is clear: this talented and driven individual has truly found her calling in finance. And who knows? Maybe one day we'll see her running for office or leading a major non-profit organization!

Stay tuned to see what's next for the fearless Kim Stolz – the ultimate career chameleon!
