In a heartwarming turn of events, actor Eric Christian Olsen and his wife Sarah Wright Olsen have welcomed their fourth child, just six months after losing their stunning Pacific Palisades home in the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

The 48-year-old "NCIS: Los Angeles" star and his 41-year-old actress-wife shared the exciting news on social media, along with adorable snaps of their newborn daughter Ocean Rain Olsen. And if you thought things were already going smoothly for this A-list couple, wait till you hear about the drama that went down in January when they lost their $1.35 million home to those very same wildfires!

In a series of Instagram posts, Eric and Sarah gave their followers an update on their journey so far. "She's here!! Ocean Rain Olsen born 6/17 12:37am - 11 pounds 4 ounces," the happy couple announced, thanking their team for helping them navigate the complex birth process.

The Olsens also gave a shoutout to their friend and fellow actress-turned-entrepreneur Nikki Reed, who stayed with them all night to document this special moment. "Cannot wait to share all the details of this day," they teased, leaving us all wondering what went down behind those closed doors!

But just six months earlier, Sarah shared an emotional post on Instagram, confirming their Pacific Palisades home had gone up in flames. The harrowing experience left the family reeling, with Eric's wife revealing that it was "one of the first areas to go" in the devastating wildfires.

"It's impossible to put into words these last few days," Sarah wrote, her voice trembling with emotion. "We are together and safe and surrounded by love. Thank you to uncle Dave and aunt Dani who took in so many of us. We lost our home."

As the family struggled to come to terms with their loss, Eric found solace in the kindness and generosity of strangers. In a February 11 Instagram post, he gushed about the outpouring of support from friends, family, and even complete strangers.

"I do take moments to digest, to acknowledge and authentically process what is lost - for me, that doesn't come with tears," Eric revealed. "BUT, I have been perpetually blown away, eyes pooled, tears racing by the kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity of our friends, family and complete strangers!"

And speaking of generosity, it seems Kathy Bates – star of CBS' new Matlock series, which Eric is executive producing – is a true friend indeed! At the Critics Choice Awards, Kathy gifted Eric his award, leaving him overcome with emotion.

"I found myself watching it, kids snuggled in, as tears streamed down my face," Eric wrote. "So emotionally blindsided by the absolute beauty of my friend's stunning thoughtfulness!"

In the midst of all this drama and trauma, Eric and Sarah have managed to keep their sense of humor and their love for each other strong. And now, with the arrival of baby Ocean Rain Olsen, they're officially a family of five!
