From Fame to Addiction: Jason Biggs' Shocking Cocaine Confessions
SCANDALOUS! American Pie Star Jason Biggs Spills On His Shocking Cocaine Addiction
In a jaw-dropping interview on The Scholarly Note, actress-turned-podcast-host Arielle Lorre's podcast, "The Well", 47-year-old actor Jason Biggs opened up about his dark past with addiction. The star of the iconic American Pie franchise confessed to going on cocaine-fueled benders that left him in a state of utter chaos.
Biggs, who shot to fame at just 19 years old with the hit comedy film series, revealed that he had a peculiar way of managing his addiction. He would call his cocaine dealer and order a dose based on how much he planned to drink beforehand. "I knew when I needed to call the coke dealer because I was gonna drink too much, and how much Ambien to take or benzos to take based on how much coke I'd had so I'd come down but hopefully not die," he confessed in the explosive interview.
With a seemingly endless supply of money and cocaine at his fingertips, Biggs boasted about his reckless behavior. "I had money in the bank, coke in my pocket, and nobody saying no to me," he bragged, admitting that he was also aware of the craziness surrounding him.
However, things took a dark turn when Biggs found himself doing cocaine out of a trash can at 4 am while his wife slept. The actor confessed that he had a habit of staying up late into the night, snorting cocaine after his wife went to bed. "I was drinking a lot by myself and using a lot by myself and not telling my wife," Biggs revealed, admitting that he took advantage of his partner's trust.
Biggs' addiction reached new heights when he started hiding bags of cocaine in trash cans around his home. In one shocking incident, the actor described how he snorted cocaine out of a Starbucks cup after rummaging through someone else's garbage on Sunset Boulevard.
The Hollywood star confessed to playing a twisted game with himself, constantly trying to resist the temptation of another line, only to give in and continue using. "I could've just easily opened the baggie and dumped it down the toilet, but I didn't. I knew I was gonna finish that bag the moment I got it, but I kept playing this game with myself," he said.
Biggs' addiction issues came to a head when he finally got sober in 2017. He celebrated his first year of sobriety on social media, writing: "I first tried to get sober over 5 years ago, when the weight of my obsession with booze and drugs became too heavy for me to handle... Turns out this sh*t is hard. After some fits and starts, I’ve managed to put together one year of sobriety. I’m as proud of it as anything in my life."
Biggs concluded his post by offering words of encouragement to those struggling with addiction: "If you’re struggling, know there’s help. Don’t be ashamed. We can do this."
