EXCLUSIVE: From Red Hot Realtor to Homeless Vagabond - The Bizarre Downfall of Sara Burack

In a shocking turn of events, 40-year-old Sara Burack, a former TV star and top-selling realtor in the Hamptons, was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident on June 19. But what's even more jaw-dropping is the fact that this glamorous woman had been living a life of destitution, forced to beg for cardboard boxes and shower at a local gym.

According to eyewitnesses, Burack was regularly seen wheeling her pink luggage around Hampton Bays in the weeks leading up to her death. Locals who knew her described her as "a darling of the Hamptons elite" just a year ago, with a magnificent home, luxurious car, and close friends and relatives who adored her.

However, behind closed doors, Burack was struggling with private demons that saw her plummet from luxury to destitution in a matter of months. Sources claim she had been battling personal issues for over a year, but those closest to her refused to comment on the nature of her struggles out of loyalty.

"It's just so shocking," said Michael, a Hamptons resident who knew Burack well. "She looked like a movie star with her long blonde hair and full lips, and I had no idea she was living on the streets."

Locals recall the heartbreaking sight of Burack wheeling her bags around town, catching buses, or walking alone. Before her fatal accident, she had stopped at a 7-Eleven store to pick up essentials, including bottled water, just hours before her death.

Burack had resorted to showering in the local Planet Fitness

The accident occurred outside Villa Paul Restaurant on Montauk Highway, where witnesses reported seeing Burack being struck by Amanda Kempton's vehicle in the early hours of June 19. Despite efforts to save her life, Burack was pronounced dead at Stonybrook Hospital shortly after arrival.

Kempton, a 32-year-old marine biologist, has been charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident and claims she thought she had hit a traffic cone. However, eyewitnesses dispute this, pointing out that there were no skid marks on the road and Burack's body was dragged over 100 feet.

"It's just unbelievable," said Marijan "Mario" Crnkovic, a fisherman who found Burack lying in the road. "She was bleeding all over the place, her head was on the curb, and she was moaning. I held her hand and prayed until the police arrived."

Crnkovic, whose father was killed in a hit-and-run accident 10 years ago, is adamant that Kempton must have been aware of what she had done. "There's no way she didn't know she hit someone," he said.

As news of Burack's tragic death spread, friends and family gathered to pay their respects at a graveside funeral in Glendale, Queens. Her friend described her as "a selfless person who was always there for others" and revealed that she had been fundraising for leukemia research and animal rescue initiatives.

Burack's life may have ended in tragedy, but the questions surrounding her downfall will undoubtedly continue to shock and fascinate those who knew her. What drove this charismatic woman from luxury to despair? Was it a combination of personal struggles and financial woes, or was there something more sinister at play?

Whatever the reason, one thing is certain: Sara Burack's life was cut short in the most tragic circumstances possible, leaving behind only questions and a sense of loss for those who knew her.

Thescholarlynote.com Exclusive Update: We spoke to a woman matching Amanda Kempton's description outside her home on Monday afternoon. When approached about the incident, she declined to comment, saying "I'm sorry we're not allowed to talk" before walking inside her home.

Meanwhile, Burack's friend remains heartbroken by her loss and is still struggling to come to terms with what happened. "Whatever happened to her, Sara didn't deserve to die like that," she said. "It was just so senseless."
