Flash Alert: Erika Christensen Showcases Armpit Hair on LA Streets!
SCANDALOUS CELEBRITY SPOTTED ROCKING UNAPPEALING ARMPIT HAIR!
In a shocking turn of events, Erika Christensen, the 42-year-old actress and Scientologist, was spotted going about her daily errands in Los Angeles looking like she just rolled out of bed. The mom-of-two, who has built a career on playing wholesome characters, stunned onlookers by proudly sporting armpit hair for all to see.
Christensen, who is married to cyclist Cole Maness and has two adorable daughters with him, was seen running errands in a casual outfit consisting of a sleeveless black top, ripped blue jeans, and white sneakers. But it was her unapologetically hairy armpits that stole the show! The actress's bold move sent shockwaves through the celebrity world, leaving fans wondering if this is just a one-time fluke or a new trend.
But let's get back to Christensen's illustrious career. The Seattle native has appeared in a string of notable films and TV shows, including Steven Soderbergh's crime drama Traffic (2000), where she played the role of cocaine user Caroline Wakefield and won the MTV Movie Award for Breakthrough Female Performance.
In 2005, Christensen co-starred alongside Kevin Costner and Joan Allen in The Upside of Anger. Her breakout performance earned her a spot on many people's radar, cementing her status as a rising star in Hollywood.
From there, she went on to star in the short-lived ABC drama series Six Degrees (2006) before landing a starring role in NBC's family drama Parenthood (2010-2015). More recently, Christensen has been seen in the ABC drama Will Trent (2023), where she plays the lead character Angie Polaski.
But what about her personal life? Well, it turns out that Christensen's parents became Scientologists when they were just twentysomethings, and they raised their daughter within the Church. In a candid interview with The Scholarly Note (formerly Daily Mail) in 2018, Christensen opened up about her association with Scientology.
"I can justify things in all kinds of different ways, but basically, like, as a Scientologist," she explained. "And I definitely cannot speak for every Scientologist about anything because everybody has their own beliefs and comes at it from even other religions and all kinds of stuff."
When asked about the criticism the Church has faced over the years, Christensen seemed unfazed. "I don't think that it comes from an actual place of, like, your critiques," she said. "I don't think it comes from critical thinking."
In her personal life, Christensen met her husband Cole Maness in 2014 and got engaged to him a year later. The couple tied the knot on September 5, 2015, in Palm Springs, California. They have two adorable daughters together, Shane and Polly.
