"For Epstein, Andrew provided status, respectability, and useful contacts through his time as special trade envoy," he explained. "In fact, Andrew made sure that Epstein went on some of these trips. He shoehorned him into meetings."

The biographer alleged that the friendship between Prince Andrew and Epstein was a toxic mix of mutual benefits, with each providing what the other desired. "Andrew provided girls, and Epstein provided someone who paid a lot of Fergie's bills," Lownie said. He also revealed that Sarah was described by those close to her as "greedy and needy," which he believes contributed to Andrew's alleged infidelity. "I think he went into the Epstein relationship partly to fund his wife, ex-wife," Lownie said.

The biographer's revelations have sparked outrage, with many questioning how Fergie could have allowed herself to become so entangled with a convicted paedophile. When asked about her ties to Epstein, Sarah Ferguson's representatives declined to comment.
