EXCLUSIVE: The Devil Wears Prada 2: The Most Anticipated Sequel of the Century is Finally Underway!
After years of anticipation, filming has begun on The Devil Wears Prada 2, and we've got all the juicy details! The original film, which raked in a whopping $326 million worldwide from a modest budget of just $35 million, is getting a long-overdue sequel based on Lauren Weisberger's bestselling novel Revenge Wears Prada.
The iconic cast returns, with Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep reprising their roles as Andy Sachs and Miranda Priestly, respectively. Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci also join the party once again, bringing back their beloved characters Emily Charlton and Nigel Kipling.
But wait, there's more! Seven new actors have joined the cast, including Charlie's Angels star Lucy Liu, The Office funnyman B.J. Novak, and even a connection to reality superstar Kylie Jenner! Pauline Chalamet, sister of Timothee Chalamet's girlfriend, is also on board.

The plot details are still under wraps, but we do know that The Devil Wears Prada 2 is set a decade after the events of the first book/movie. Andy and Emily have co-founded a successful bridal magazine called The Plunge, and Andy's planning her own wedding when Miranda Priestly comes back into her life, trying to acquire their magazine.
Director David Frankel and screenwriter Aline Brosh-McKenna from the original film are back at the helm, with Wendy Finerman producing. It's going to be a wild ride!
The new cast members are no strangers to the spotlight. Liu has just debuted in Rosemead at the Tribeca Film Festival, while Theroux had a recurring role on Netflix's Running Point. Novak recently appeared in an episode of Peacock's Poker Face, and Chalamet's The Sex Lives of College Girls is coming to an end after three seasons on Max.
