Family Feud: Trace Cyrus Calls Dad 'Evil' Amidst New Romance Drama

Trace Cyrus, 36, has slammed his father Billy Ray Cyrus, 63, as 'evil' and 'delusional' in a scathing Instagram post on Tuesday

DAD-GONE-BAD! Billy Ray Cyrus's Family Feud Heats Up as Son Trace Calls Him 'Evil' and 'Delusional' in Scathing Instagram Post

The drama is brewing in the Cyrus family, folks! In a shocking turn of events, son Trace has slammed his father, Billy Ray Cyrus, calling him "evil" and "delusional" in an explosive Instagram post. The 36-year-old musician took to social media on Tuesday to unleash a scathing attack on his dad, accusing him of being "so hungry for fame it's pathetic."

The drama began when Trace shared a photo of Billy Ray, 63, with a lengthy caption that left no stone unturned. He accused his dad of not attending his grandmother's funeral despite flying to Italy with his new girlfriend, Elizabeth Hurley. "This man is so hungry for fame it's pathetic," Trace wrote. "He really flew to Italy for a fashion show but wouldn't come to LA for Mammie's funeral while he was still married to my mom."

then called his father 'the lamest man to ever walk planet earth' while adding he is 'embarrassed to ever have considered you my idol'

But that's not all - Trace also called out Billy Ray for his "trainwreck" performance at Trump's inauguration in January, begging him to seek help after the embarrassing display. "Even after his daughter got him a 60k private jet like he demanded then he still didn't come even after the plane was paid for," Trace added.

The musician didn't hold back, labeling Billy Ray as "the lamest man to ever walk planet earth" and saying he's "embarrassed to ever have considered you my idol." He concluded by saying, "Christ is King. Get right with God. You need it."

But that's not all - Trace took to his Instagram stories to further roast his dad, calling out his questionable fashion sense. "Also why does he think that homeless hairstyle looks good? So weird," he wrote.

The former guitarist for Metro Station also jumped to his Instagram stories where he further called out his dad

The comments on the post have since been disabled, but not before one follower pointed out that Trace may be trying to get attention from his dad. However, Trace shot back saying he's "past the point of even caring if I ever speak to him again."

"I've surpassed him in every metric as a man on this planet," Trace said proudly. "There's nothing left to learn from his except from his mistakes. I had hope at one point but I'm convinced he's finally a lost cause."

But what's really going on behind the scenes? Sources close to the family tell The Scholarly Note that Billy Ray has been struggling with his own demons, and his family is worried about him. "Noah desperately wants her dad to be a part of her life," a source revealed. "Miley and Braison are also worried about their dad's well-being."

The comments on the Instagram post have since seemingly been disabled, but the singer screenshot one as well as his response beforehand

And it seems like Trace isn't the only one who's had enough of Billy Ray's antics. Miley Cyrus recently opened up about the family drama on Monica Lewinsky's Reclaiming podcast, saying they've "cleaned all that up" after a "dark decade." She even revealed that she and her siblings didn't have any therapy sessions to work through their issues.

Meanwhile, Billy Ray has been making headlines for his new romance with Elizabeth Hurley. But it seems like Miley wasn't aware of the relationship when it came out - leading some to speculate that there may be tension between them.

But despite all the drama, it's clear that the Cyrus family is still a tight-knit bunch. In fact, Billy Ray recently uploaded a heartwarming tribute to his daughters, including Miley and Noah. And in another shocking turn of events, Braison Cyrus broke his silence on the family drama, saying he doesn't have any bad feelings towards anyone in his family.

Towards the end of his reply, the media personality stated that he will 'continue to thrive and as the oldest son of the family the Cyrus last name will continue through me and my many children I plan to have'

So what's next for the Cyrus family? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure - they're not afraid to speak their minds and roast each other when needed.

Billy and Trace have been embroiled in drama after the guitarist begged his father to get help after his 'trainwreck' performance at the Liberty Ball during the Trump inauguration in January

At the time, Cyrus had taken to the stage at the Washington Convention Center (seen above) which was plagued by technical issues that prompted him to improvise and perform a cappella at some points

He added, 'Sadly the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like I barely recognize now. It seems this world has beaten you down and it's become obvious to everyone but you'

A few days later, Trace claimed that his father threatened him with legal action after making the dramatic public plea

Last month in May, she reunited with her estranged father as they brushed aside rumors of 'family drama' to pose for a sweet Instagram snap

In January, Braison broke his silence over the family drama and told People, 'I don't have any bad feelings toward anyone in my family'; seen in 2020 in Las Vegas

On Tuesday, Miley got candid about overcoming 'messy' family drama without therapy on Monica Lewinsky's Reclaiming podcast; seen above in 2019 with Trace, mom Tish, and Brandi in Las Vegas
