When asked about his decision to keep working, Dane told Variety, "I feel good... It keeps me sharp. It keeps me moving forward, which is super important right now." And judging by his radiant smile and Shirtcliff's loving gaze, it's clear that he's found a supportive partner in his struggles.

But despite the challenges posed by ALS, Dane remains optimistic about his future. "I don't think this is the end of my story," he told Good Morning America's Diane Sawyer earlier this week. "I'm pretty resilient... I just don't feel like [this] is the end of me."

"I will fly to Germany and eat the head off a rattlesnake if [doctors] told me that would help," he quipped during the same Good Morning America interview. Talk about dedication!
