When asked if she'd been "deprioritizing" men in her life, Emily didn't hesitate to set the record straight: "Well, the kids say decentering," she quipped. "I am a single mom and I just really...I think as I've gotten older, I started to really value community with other women particularly. And that's definitely a priority for me."
The model went on to reveal that her newfound appreciation for female camaraderie was inspired by her experiences living in New York City. "I think it's one of the best parts about living here," she gushed, "as I get to meet so many amazing women and queer people. And yeah, I really value community these days."
