Dwam Reunited: Rainn Wilson and Jenna Fischer Relive The Office Magic!
The Office Reunion That Will Leave You Screaming "That's What She Said!"
It's been over 20 years since The Office first aired on NBC, and it seems like just yesterday we were laughing along with Michael Scott (Steve Carell) and his quirky Dunder Mifflin crew. But in a shocking turn of events, two of the show's most beloved stars have reunited - and this time, it's not just for old times' sake!
Rainn Wilson, the talented actor who brought Dwight Schrute to life, and Jenna Fischer, the beautiful and brilliant Pam Beesly, recently stepped out together for a casual lunch date in an Instagram-worthy snap. The duo posed for a selfie, flashing their signature smiles as they grabbed some grub.
But that's not all - these two also took another pic while chillin' inside a vehicle (because, you know, they're superstars and can do whatever they want!). Jenna kept it casual in a short-sleeved white shirt layered with a button-up top, her locks styled to perfection. Rainn sported a black shirt and gray button-up, looking dashing as always.
In the caption of their latest post, Wilson shared some hilarious behind-the-scenes gossip: "Had lunch with one of my favorite people on the planet - @MsJennaFischer! Then we recorded audio in the back for her car (for those gosh darn Office Ladies!). She had breakfast for lunch. I had a salad because I'm too chubby." Yep, folks, it's clear these two are still as close as ever!
But what really got our hearts racing was when Rainn dropped some serious nostalgia: "This amazing, gorgeous woman I first met at our office audition call back in late 2003! Can you believe it?! Dwight and Pam forever! #Dwam." Ah, the memories!
Of course, social media users (and former cast members) went wild, flooding the comment section with messages of excitement. Kate Flannery (Meredith Palmer) even added some red heart emojis, while Angela Kinsey (Angela Martin) typed out a heartfelt "This makes my heart happy! Love you guys!"
And if you're thinking, "Wait, what about John Krasinski's character Jim?" Well, one fan had the perfect response: "Jim would be FURIOUS!!! I love you guys!" We can only imagine!
So, what do these Office reunions mean for fans? Well, according to Fischer herself, it's more than just a chance to relive old times. In an interview with People, she revealed that the cast still keeps in touch through their special group chat (dubbed "Office Peeps"). "We have our text thread," she explained. "It's going strong."
And don't even get us started on the news about The Office's spin-off series, Paper! Set to premiere on September 4 on Peacock, this new show takes place in the same universe as the original but with an entirely new cast (including Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore). President of NBCUniversal Entertainment Lisa Katz said it best: "It's been more than ten years since the final episode aired on NBC. And the acclaimed comedy series continues to gain popularity and build new generations of fans on Peacock."
But wait, there's more! Fischer and Kinsey have also teamed up for their podcast Office Ladies - which officially launched back in 2019. And last year, they even reunited with Rainn Wilson, Craig Robinson, Creed Bratton, Kate Flannery, and Brian Baumgartner for an AT&T campaign. "It was so much fun and totally seamless," Fischer gushed. "We locked into our chemistry together immediately."
And speaking of reunions, it seems like the one we've all been waiting for is finally happening - Craig Robinson, who played lovable but awkward Darryl Philbin, has announced that he's stepping away from comedy! But don't worry, folks; we'll always have his hilarious performances to look back on.
