The silver fox, who was crowned Britain's fifth most eligible bachelor by high society magazine Tatler in 2004, alongside none other than Prince William and Hugh Grant, walked his daughter Ellea down the aisle this week, leaving fans gagging over his impressively youthful appearance.
The ceremony, which took place on Monday in Italy at the mother of the bride's home country, was a lavish affair with all the trimmings. Ellea, 33, married her long-term boyfriend Shiro Miller, a bodybuilder and personal trainer, in a breathtaking castle ceremony surrounded by family, friends, and of course, the iconic band themselves.
But it wasn't just the happy couple who stole the show – Roger's dashing figure in a classic black tuxedo had everyone talking. The 65-year-old drummer, who was Duran Duran's heartbeat from their inception in 1979 until 1985, looked every inch the debonair gentleman as he escorted his daughter down the flower-lined pathway.
Ellea, who is also a makeup artist, looked radiant in her strapless ivory gown with sweeping train and delicate veil. She was beaming as she exchanged vows with Shiro, who wore a tuxedo and bow tie, and couldn't hide his delight as he gazed at his new bride, his arm proudly around her waist.
The celebrations carried on into the evening, with the couple pictured laughing together at the reception. A candid black-and-white snap captured them sharing a joyful moment with a flower girl, giving a glimpse of the glamorous party atmosphere.
But the real talk of the town was Roger's youthful appearance. Fans were gagging over his healthy head of brown hair and dashing figure. One woman wrote: 'Roger has aged like a fine wine.' Another added: 'So handsome!' while another said: 'He literally hasn't aged!'
It seems that Roger is still turning heads, even at the ripe age of 65. And it's not just his looks – he was also beaming with pride as he walked Ellea down the aisle.
The ceremony was a proud moment for Ellea's famous father, who has had a storied career in music. After taking a break from Duran Duran to live a quieter life in the countryside in 1985, Roger returned to the band in 2001 for a full reunion of the classic 1980–1985 line-up.
Since then, the band has been touring and releasing new music. This summer, they have been tearing up stages across Europe, delighting fans with electrifying performances at festivals and arenas.
As for Ellea's mother Giovanna, a stylist, she married Roger in 1984 but they later divorced in the mid-1990s. They also have two sons, James and Elliott, who were part of Ellea's wedding party.
Roger married Peruvian socialite Gisella Bernales, with whom he has one son, Julian, in 2007. It seems that Roger is still a busy bee, but it's clear that his daughter Ellea was the center of attention on her special day.
