In a candid interview with British Vogue, global pop sensation Dua Lipa has shared her deepest desires - and they're not just about chart-topping hits or sold-out concerts! The 29-year-old songstress has revealed that she's eager to start a family of her own, but is concerned about how motherhood will fit into her busy career as a pop star.

"I'd love to have kids one day," Dua confessed. "But it's like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time – how it would fit in with my job and how it would work if I went on tour, and how much time out I'd have to take."

The "Don't Start Now" hitmaker's comments come as she celebrates her engagement to actor Callum Turner, 35. The couple reportedly got engaged over Christmas 2024, and Dua couldn't be more thrilled about their future together.

"Yeah, we're engaged!" she gushed. "It's very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever – it's a really special feeling."

But what does the future hold for this power couple? Dua revealed that she hopes to wrap up her tour before saying "I do" - whenever that may be. And when asked about her wedding dress, she confessed that she's started thinking about it... but only in her spare moments between sold-out shows.

"I want to finish my tour, Callum's shooting, so we're just enjoying this period," Dua explained. "I've never been someone who's really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden, I'm like: 'Oh, what would I wear?'"

As for her engagement ring, Dua is "obsessed" with the stunning diamond that now adorns her finger. And it's clear why - after all, who wouldn't want to spend the rest of their life with someone who knows you so well?

"I think it's just one of those things that's going to happen when it happens," Dua said with a smile. "I love kids, but I think there's so much more to raising a child than just loving children."

So, what's the secret to this whirlwind romance? According to Dua, it all started with a series of chance encounters - or should we say, "Sliding Doors moments"? The singer revealed that she and Callum first met at the River Cafe in London, where they kept running into each other without realizing it. It wasn't until a year later, when Dua was having dinner in Los Angeles, that the two finally struck up a conversation.

"We just happened to be reading the same book," Dua recalled. "I mean, what are the chances? And then we started talking and realized we had so much in common."

Fast forward to today, and it's clear that this couple is meant to be. As Dua put it: "One thousand per cent, I feel like we were destined to be together."

And speaking of destiny, it seems that Dua has finally found her happy ending after a string of high-profile breakups. In a separate interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, the singer opened up about how she's learned to prioritize self-love and confidence in the wake of past relationship struggles.

"I needed to get to this place in order to find what I really needed," Dua reflected. "You have to be in the act of forgiveness and growing and learning, and being okay with the past in order to move on with what's to come next."

So, what's next for Dua Lipa? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure - this pop star is ready to take on the world... as long as it doesn't interfere with her future family plans, that is!
