Dua Lipa Celebrates New Kosovo Citizenship with a Night of Dancing and Romance!

Dua Lipa has confessed she is 'loving life' after she was granted her Kosovo citizenship and parties the week away in celebration

SINGER DUA LIPA PARTIES LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW AFTER GETTING KOSOVO CITIZENSHIP!

It's the ultimate dream come true for pop sensation Dua Lipa! The 29-year-old songstress has just been granted her Kosovo citizenship, and she celebrated in style at the three-day Sunny Hill Festival - which she co-organizes with her dad!

The One Kiss singer, born to Kosovan-Albanian parents Anesa and Dukagjin Lipa in London, was beaming as she received her new passport from Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani. And what better way to celebrate than a wild night out on the dance floor?

The One Kiss singer, 29, who can be seen sitting on boyfriend Callum Turner's lap, seemed elated as she shared an album of snaps to Instagram on Saturday to share her exciting news

Dua took to Instagram on Saturday to share a sizzling gallery of photos, showing off her moves as she danced to DJ Fatboy Slim's iconic beats. In one particularly juicy snap, she was seen cozying up to her fiancé Callum Turner, with his hand wrapped lovingly around her head!

But Dua wasn't alone in her party fun - she was joined by a group of friends who were there to let their hair down and have the time of their lives. And judging by her Instagram post, it's safe to say they all had an absolute blast!

"Got my citizenship the night before and then partied hard at @sunnyhillfestival the night after!!!! @officialfatboyslim !!!!! lovinggggg lifeeee," Dua wrote alongside her photos.

But what does this new citizenship mean for Dua? Well, it's more than just a piece of paper - it completes a duality she's always felt within. In a statement, the hitmaker explained: "It means so much to me and my family. It's a dream come true!"

And President Osmani was clearly thrilled to grant Dua her citizenship, hailing her as "one of the most iconic cultural figures in our country's history". He described it as an "honour" to welcome Dua into the Kosovo family.

Images from the ceremony showed a beaming Dua posing with President Osmani, while other photos captured her greeting fans and receiving gifts. It was truly a momentous occasion!

The stongstress was also seen celebrating the good news during Sunnyhill Festival as she supported the music event by wearing their merchandise

But what's even more remarkable is that Dua now holds citizenship for not one, but three countries - Britain, Albania, and Kosovo! She was granted Albanian citizenship in 2022 by President Bajram Begaj for spreading Albania's fame internationally through her music.

Dua has always been open about her love for Kosovo, and it's clear she's deeply connected to the country. In fact, she even helped set up a charity that focuses on helping vulnerable communities in Kosovo!

And speaking of connections, did you know that British singer Rita Ora is also from Kosovo? But unlike Dua, Rita doesn't have citizenship - yet! The singer and her family moved to the UK in 1991, where Rita went on to attend the Sylvia Young Theatre School.

Rita has spoken candidly about growing up as a refugee in the UK, often feeling like an "outsider" during her childhood. But it's clear she's made a name for herself in the music industry - and we can't wait to see what the future holds!

So there you have it, folks! Dua Lipa is officially a citizen of Kosovo, and we couldn't be more thrilled for her! What do you think about this news? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below!
