Dua Lipa and Callum Turner's Love Story: Engagement Confirmed!
DUA LIPA CONFIRMS ENAGEMENT TO CALLUM TURNER: "WE'RE READY TO GROW OLD TOGETHER"
In a juicy exclusive, pop sensation Dua Lipa has finally confirmed her engagement to dashing actor Callum Turner - and we've got the scoop!
The 30-year-old singer-songwriter spilled the beans in an interview with British Vogue, revealing that she and her 35-year-old beau are "excited" about their future together.
"We're engaged! Yeah, we're engaged," Dua gushed. "It's very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever - it's a really special feeling."
The romance between the power couple has been simmering for months, with whispers of their whirlwind romance sending fans into a frenzy.
But what about wedding bells? Dua hinted that she's not rushing into planning the big day, saying they're focused on wrapping up their respective projects first. "I want to finish my tour, Callum's shooting, so we're just enjoying this period," she explained.
However, our sources claim that the bride-to-be has already started thinking about her dream wedding dress - and it sounds like it's going to be a showstopper!
As for having kids in the future, Dua revealed that she'd love to start a family one day. "I'd love to have kids one day," she said. "But it's like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time - how it would fit in with my job and how it would work if I went on tour."
The pair's fairy tale romance began when they met at London's River Cafe, where they discovered a shared love for literature (yes, you read that right!). And it seems like fate brought them together.
"We had many Sliding Doors moments," Dua laughed. "We were in the same place at the same time without realising. But then we got introduced to each other and... magic happened!"
So, what's the secret to their success? According to Dua, it's all about being open-minded and embracing vulnerability.
"In relationships, I needed to get to this place where I was okay with the past in order to move on with what's to come next," she reflected. "I think that's an important thing. It's not just about finding the right person - it's about finding the right relationship."
And speaking of relationships, Dua has been open about her past experiences and how they've shaped her into the confident woman she is today.
"I needed to find my confidence again after previous relationships had gone awry," she confessed. "I think with every relationship, you learn about yourself, what hurts you, what you expect... You learn about your own non-negotiables."
