Drama Unfolds: Denise Richards' Divorce Battle and Black Eye Controversy

Denise Richards has fiercely accused her estranged husband Aaron Phypers of abuse during their eight-year marriage, filing for a restraining order after he initiated divorce proceedings

DENISE RICHARDS' DIRTY LITTLE SECRET EXPOSED!

In a shocking twist, Denise Richards has been accused of lying about her marriage to Aaron Phypers being filled with domestic violence and abuse. But is it true?

The actress, 54, who has been embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with her estranged husband, claims that he's the one responsible for leaving her with a black eye - but sources close to Phypers are spilling the tea that Denise was actually drunk at the time and took a tumble down some stairs.

In her application, Richards included a photo of herself with a black eye, claiming it was from a 2022 incident when Phypers allegedly struck her during a paranoid episode about listening devices hidden in the plants outside their home

A BLOWOUT FIGHT AND A BLACK EYE

In court documents filed on Wednesday, Richards alleged that Phypers, 49, had beaten and choked her during their marriage. She also claimed that he became violent when she confronted him about his suspicions of listening devices in potted plants. The allegations are nothing short of explosive, but it seems that Denise's own account of the incident is not entirely trustworthy.

According to sources, the black eye seen on Richards' face in a photo included in her court filing was actually the result of a drunken fall at Phypers' clinic Q360 back in winter 2022. And get this - multiple witnesses were present at the time and saw what happened!

The restraining order was filed on Wednesday, and while both parties agree on the timeline of the incident that led to her black eye, a source close to Phypers claims the injury wasn’t the result of abuse, but rather from Richards drunkenly falling up the stairs

PHYPERS SPEAKS OUT

Phypers has also released a statement denying all allegations of abuse, saying: "I have never physically or emotionally abused Denise - or anyone. These accusations are completely false and deeply hurtful."

In his divorce papers, Phypers requested spousal support totaling $105,000-a-month, citing his zero income after the closure of his clinic last October. Richards has been working on her reality show "Denise Richards and Her Wild Things" and earns a whopping $250,000-a-month from OnlyFans and her now-canceled reality show.

The source said Richards was on her way up to Phypers’ now-shuttered clinic, Q360 Club in Malibu (pictured in 2020), when she drunkenly fell - catching her eye on the corner of the stairs - and that multiple witnesses saw the aftermath of them immediately icing the injury when she arrived at the office

A MESSY DIVORCE BATTLE

The divorce battle between Denise and Aaron has been a wild ride, with allegations of abuse, infidelity, and financial woes. It seems that the marriage was filled with drama and tension, but is it true?

In her court filing, Richards described a July 4 bust-up that put the final nail in the coffin of their marriage, claiming that Phypers got within inches of her face and screamed at her, calling her names like "c* w" and "piece of s*." But again, sources close to Phypers are saying that Denise's account is not entirely accurate.

A HISTORY OF TRUTHINESS

This is not the first time Richards has been accused of lying. Back in 2023, she appeared to slur her words during an episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, sparking concerns about her sobriety.

Richards was previously married to wild child actor Charlie Sheen, with whom she had two daughters. The marriage ended in a messy divorce, with Richards slapping Sheen with a restraining order and gaining sole legal custody of their children.

But contrary to Phypers' account, Richards offers a starkly different version of events, alleging he became paranoid that their potted plants were bugged and, after a police officer approached the door in response to screams, he struck her in the eye with the heel of his palm

In 2011, Richards adopted a third daughter Eloise and started dating Phypers in December 2017 before marrying him less than a year later in September 2018.

THE TRUTH COMES OUT

It seems that the truth about Denise Richards' marriage to Aaron Phypers is more complicated than we thought. With allegations of abuse flying back and forth, it's hard to know what really went down. But one thing is for sure - this divorce battle is getting juicier by the minute!

During the alleged assault, Richards claimed her estranged husband called her a
