Country music icon Dolly Parton has finally broken her silence on her mysterious health condition, sending shockwaves of relief through her devoted fanbase after a week of concern and speculation. The 79-year-old songstress took to social media to reassure her adoring fans that she's doing just fine, despite canceling several shows for her upcoming Las Vegas residency.

In a sassy and signature Dolly move, Parton posted a video message to address the rumors surrounding her health, dressed in a stunning red fringed shirt and black slacks with peep-toe heels. "Well, there's a lot of rumors out there," she began, flashing her iconic smile. "Let me tell you, today's October 8th, and obviously I'm here. Do I look sick to you?" Parton asked, playfully teasing her fans.

The crooner put her fans' fears to rest as she said she is doing fine: 'I ain't dead yet!' Parton also asked, 'Do I look sick to you?'

The country superstar then revealed that she has been dealing with some health issues, but they're nothing major. "Back when my husband Carl was very sick – that was for a long time – and then when he passed, I didn't take care of myself," she confessed. "I let a lot of things go that I should have been taking care of... nothing major, but I did have to cancel some things so I could be closer to home."

Parton's representatives had previously confirmed that the singer was not seriously ill after her family asked fans to send love and prayers to the country musician. However, Parton's younger sister Stella took to social media to address the rumors, revealing that Dolly has been battling kidney stones.

However, the rumors surrounding Parton's health took on a life of their own after Freida shared an update on Facebook, writing: "I didn't mean to scare anyone or make it sound so serious. She's been a little under the weather and I simply asked for prayers because I believe so strongly in the power of prayer."

Dolly's UK manager Olly Rowland weighed in on the situation, explaining that Freida's post had blown Dolly's mysterious illness out of proportion. "It's just the kidney stones, and the procedure she needs to resolve those," he said.

The movie icon added that she does have some health 'problems' but they are being dealt with
