The Drama Unfolds: Denise Richards Accuses Ex-Husband Aaron Phypers of Trashing Their Calabasas Mansion

Get ready for a juicy scandal! Bravo star Denise Richards, 54, is claiming that her estranged husband Aaron Phypers and his family left their luxurious Calabasas mansion in shambles after she vacated the property over two years ago. The drama between the ex-couple has been brewing for months, with Denise accusing Aaron of physical and emotional abuse, which he has vehemently denied.

According to Us Weekly, who obtained exclusive photos of the damage, Denise submitted pictures of the severely damaged home as evidence in her ongoing divorce case against Aaron. The images depict clutter-strewn rooms, a torn-up floor, and what appears to be significant destruction throughout the property.

The Calabasas mansion has been at the center of controversy since Denise moved out in 2023, citing concerns about the condition of the home and her safety. She stopped paying rent last December, leading their landlord to initiate eviction proceedings. However, Denise claims that Aaron's family is to blame for the state of the property.

"Aaron and his parents and brother have severely damaged the [home] and left the house in a state of disarray," Denise allegedly told Us Weekly.

But Aaron's camp has fired back, denying any wrongdoing and claiming that they had actually worked tirelessly to clean up the residence after Denise vacated it. "The Phypers family was heavily clearing up the residence since Denise moved out two years ago," a source close to Aaron explained.

The drama escalated earlier this month when Denise filed a request to temporarily evict Aaron, his 83-year-old mother, father, and brother from their leased home. She claimed that she needed access to retrieve her dogs and belongings, fearing that they would be harmed or discarded during the eviction process.

In her court filing, obtained by People, Denise expressed concern for her pets' safety and pleaded with the judge to order Aaron's family out of the house for eight hours so she could collect her personal items. "If I am not able to [retrieve] my dogs and belongings, I believe my dogs will be harmed and my property destroyed or discarded during the eviction process," she wrote.

The RHOBH alum was reportedly shocked by the condition of the home when she arrived unannounced on August 3 with her lawyer and three Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies in tow. According to TMZ, Aaron left the premises immediately due to concerns about the restraining order he had been served earlier.

Denise allegedly barged into the house, demanding that Aaron's family vacate the premises. "She screamed at his parents that they needed to get out of the house, putting her finger in their faces," a source revealed.

The police were called to the scene, and after questioning Denise, they concluded that there was no crime committed and no arrests were made. However, the drama is far from over as the next hearing for the temporary restraining order is scheduled for September 8 at the Superior Court of California.

In a bizarre twist, Aaron has filed for divorce from Denise, citing a breakdown in their marriage. He has requested spousal support of around $105K/month and claims to have "no income." Meanwhile, Denise wants Aaron to pay her legal expenses and any expenses related to the alleged abuse. She has also requested that he attend a 52-week batterer intervention program.

The tumultuous relationship between Denise and Aaron began in December 2017 when they started dating, just months after his divorce from Desperate Housewives alum Nicollette Sheridan was finalized in 2018. The couple tied the knot later that year, but their six-year marriage has been marked by controversy and allegations of abuse.
