DENISE RICHARDS' PLASTIC SURGERY SHOCKER: "I JUMPED OFF A BRIDGE AND RUPTURED MY BREAST IMPLANTS!"

Reality TV star Denise Richards has been through a whirlwind of drama in recent months, and it's not just limited to her personal life. The 54-year-old actress recently underwent plastic surgery to repair the damage caused by an unfortunate incident on the set of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test.

In a candid video shared with Dr. Robert Cohen's practice, Denise revealed that she suffered a ruptured implant while filming the show. "I did a show and one of the things that I did was jumping off a bridge," she confessed. "I felt a little snap, but I don't know if it was my neck or my hips or whatever when I fell off that thing. And I've had ruptured implants years ago, those were a different type of implant though."

She described her journey to getting them fixed in a seven-minute long video for the Beverly Hills Center for Plastic & Laser Surgery

The incident occurred during season three of the show, which Denise voluntarily withdrew from due to the physical challenges it presented. "I jumped off a bridge, too — and that's when I ruptured my [breast] implants — off of that thing," she recalled on Jeff Lewis Live earlier this year.

But what exactly happened? According to Denise, the harness she was wearing for the jump caused the rupture of both her breast implants. The incident left her with a misshapen look and some discomfort, but it also led to an opportunity for her to get some much-needed work done.

Denise sought out Dr. Robert Cohen, a plastic surgeon recommended by fellow RHOBH alum Camille Grammer, who had previously undergone a successful breast implant removal procedure with him. Denise was thrilled with the results of her surgery and couldn't wait to show off her new look in time for bikini season.

The Wild Things star sought the services of Dr. Cohen, a surgeon who also previously worked on Denise's friend Camille Grammer

The video chronicled not only Denise's pre-surgery preparation but also her recovery process, which included wearing a fancy bra during the healing period. "It's actually going pretty good," she said on the day after her surgery. "Today's the day after having surgery. I'm in a little pain, but it's bearable."

But that wasn't all – Denise also underwent fat removal procedures to insert around her implants for a more natural look. "I cannot believe it," she raved about her results a week later. "I am so, so happy... And I'm so happy I had the fat sucked out too! Because I've never done that before."

Denise's decision to undergo plastic surgery has sparked some controversy, with many questioning whether the procedure was necessary given her previous implant rupture incident. However, sources close to Denise insist that she made an informed decision and is thrilled with the results.

In fact, Denise has been raving about Dr. Cohen's skills as a surgeon and his attention to detail. "I knew in my gut and in my heart that Dr. Cohen was the right doctor for me," she gushed. "He's an artist."

While some have expressed concern about Denise's decision to undergo plastic surgery, especially given her previous implant rupture incident, it's clear that she's happy with the results. And who can blame her? After all, a woman's got to do what a woman's got to do – and for Denise Richards, that means looking and feeling her best.

THE COST OF BEING A REALITY TV STAR

But there's another aspect of Denise's plastic surgery journey that has raised some eyebrows – the cost. According to sources close to the actress, Denise is paying out of pocket for the procedure, as her insurance won't cover it. "I have to pay," she admitted on Jeff Lewis Live earlier this year. "I think we pretty much signed our life away doing that show... It's dangerous."

The incident serves as a stark reminder of the risks and consequences of participating in reality TV shows – not just for the stars, but also for their wallets.
