Defying Odds: Victoria's Secret Angel Barbara Palvin Struts Runway on a Broken Foot
SWEETHEART STRUTS HER STUFF: Victoria's Secret Angel Barbara Palvin Brings the Heat on the Runway with a Broken Foot!
In a jaw-dropping display of strength and determination, supermodel Barbara Palvin stunned audiences at the recent event, walking the catwalk in two show-stopping ensembles despite recently breaking her foot. And we're not just talking about any ordinary broken foot – we're talking about one that was sustained just four weeks ago while our heroine was strutting her stuff in those killer heels.
But what's even more impressive is that Palvin, 32, didn't let a little thing like pain and injury get in the way of slaying the runway. Nope, she rocked two different looks with ease, leaving the crowd (and her husband, none other than actor Dylan Sprouse) utterly speechless.
The first look was straight out of Greek mythology – Palvin wore a silky orange slip dress that left little to the imagination, complete with a matching bra and flowing sleeves. And if you thought she was done serving face, think again! For her second outfit change, the model donned a bedazzled corset top shaped like angel wings (talk about irony, right?) and paired it with a matching mini skirt that showed off those stunning legs.
But here's where things get really juicy: Palvin has been dealing with some major health issues, including endometriosis, which can cause extreme pelvic pain and painful periods. Just this summer, she underwent surgery to help alleviate the symptoms, and now she's back on her feet (or should we say, back on the catwalk?) looking better than ever.
And as for Sprouse, the proud husband couldn't contain his emotions. "I'm always immensely proud of her," he gushed to Entertainment Tonight. "She works really hard." But let's be real – he was probably sweating bullets watching her strut her stuff with a broken foot!
As for how Palvin sustained the injury, Sprouse revealed that she broke her foot by stepping funny on a curb while wearing those infamous heels. Yeah, because who hasn't done that before?
But what's even more impressive is Palvin's commitment to speaking out about endometriosis and raising awareness for the condition. "She feels better, almost a hundred percent, there's a lot less pain now," Sprouse shared with ET.
When asked about how she's been feeling lately, Palvin has been open about her struggles with endometriosis on social media. In an August Instagram post from her hospital bed (yes, you read that right – the model was so dedicated to speaking out that she even posted from the hospital!), Palvin wrote: "Just a little update and a few thoughts for those out there who could relate to what I'm about to share... For some years now I've been dealing with the difficulties that can come with my periods. Fatigue, severe pain, heavy and irregular flow, sleepless nights on the bathroom floor."
But don't worry – Palvin's got this! With the help of her endometriosis specialist and a successful surgery, she's finally experiencing some relief from the symptoms.
In a message to all the readers out there who might be dealing with similar issues, Palvin wrote: "Early diagnosis and treatment are very important to prevent long-term complications... If you suspect that you could have endometriosis I encourage you to find it out. It helped me a lot, and I'm grateful I did it."
So, there you have it – Barbara Palvin is not only a stunning supermodel, but she's also a brave advocate for women's health. We can't wait to see what she does next!
