De Niro vs. Trump: Jimmy Kimmel's Star-Studded Anti-MAGA Skit

Kimmel rolled out De Niro as he returned to screens on Tuesday, with the two engaging in a four-minute gag poking fun at Trump and the FCC

ROBERT DE NIRO UNLEASHES HIS FURY ON DONALD TRUMP IN EPIC SKIT ON JIMMY KIMMEL'S COMEBACK SHOW

In a move that's got everyone talking, Hollywood legend Robert De Niro made a surprise cameo on Jimmy Kimmel's comeback show, and let's just say he didn't hold back. The 82-year-old actor, known for his iconic roles in Goodfellas and The Irishman, channelled his inner mob boss to take on the role of Federal Communications Commissioner Brendan Carr, and boy, did he deliver.

The sketch, which was a clear jab at President Trump and his administration's handling of free speech, had Kimmel playing along like a pro. De Niro, dressed in a suit that screamed "I'm a powerful man," began by warning Whoopi Goldberg, the presenter of The View, to show some respect or face the consequences.

De Niro took on a similar intimidating type role he has already portrayed in the likes of Goodfellas and The Irishman as the enforcer like head of the FCC

"Tell Whoopi over there she better show a bit of respect, or the only view she'll be getting is from under the George Washington bridge, not the guy," De Niro quipped, sending the audience into hysterics. Kimmel played along, asking if De Niro was actually the FCC Chairman appointed by Trump, to which he replied, "Sir Trump, yes I used to do some work for the man here and in Atlantic City."

The skit quickly descended into chaos as De Niro started doling out mafia-style threats, telling Kimmel that free speech wasn't free anymore. "We're charging by the word now," he growled, explaining that if you wanted to make a joke about Trump's hair, that was one thing, but if you wanted to mock his weight, well, that would cost extra.

The audience was in stitches as De Niro continued to riff on Trump's infamous friendship with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. "If you want to do a joke like he's so fat he needs two seats on the Epstein jet, that's gonna cost ya," he sneered, prompting Kimmel to ask how much it would set him back.

De Niro has long been an outspoken critic of President Trump, seen here at the United Nations General Assembly on September 23

"A couple of fingers maybe a tooth, depends on how constipated he is," De Niro shot back, leaving the audience gasping. The skit ended with De Niro revealing his new FCC motto: "Stick and stones may break your bones."

As the four-minute segment came to a close, De Niro warned Kimmel that he'd be keeping an eye on him – or rather, not on ABC. "I'll be watching you Kimmel, maybe not on ABC – but that's up to you," he said with a wink.

This isn't the first time De Niro has taken aim at Trump; in fact, their feud goes back years. Last May, De Niro got into a heated confrontation with MAGA supporters outside Trump's hush money trial in New York City, calling him a "clown who wants to destroy the world."

Epstein and Trmp are seen here posing together at Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, in 1997

In 2016, De Niro issued a particularly brutal statement during the presidential election campaign, saying: "He's so blatantly stupid. He's a punk, he's a dog, he's a pig. He's an idiot... He talks how he wants to punch people in the face? Well, I'd like to punch him in the face."

Trump, of course, had a response ready – he called De Niro out for having "trump derangement syndrome," a term used by his administration to describe its critics.

Kimmel himself made headlines last week when he was pulled off the air after claiming that MAGA were trying to distance themselves from Charlie Kirk shooter Tyler Robinson. Prosecutors later revealed that Robinson actually held leftist beliefs, leaving many scratching their heads.

De Niro attends the 2025 opening Dinner during of the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival at on May 13, 2025 in Cannes, France
