Dakota Johnson's New Chapter: Thriving Post-Chris Martin Split

It's been three weeks since Dakota Johnson and her ex-fiancé Chris Martin reportedly ended their on/off seven-year relationship, and she's said to be 'doing well' (pictured June 7)

SCANDALOUS SPLIT! Dakota Johnson Moves On from Chris Martin After 7-Year Rollercoaster Relationship

The world of Hollywood was left stunned when Dakota Johnson and her on-again, off-again beau Chris Martin called it quits after a seven-year rollercoaster ride. But according to insiders, the Material Girl actress is "doing remarkably well" as she navigates this new chapter in her life.

At 48, Chris - the divorced father of two with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow - is a whopping 13 years older than Dakota, making their relationship a fascinating study in contrasts. And it seems that despite their seemingly perfect union, the couple had been struggling with the same issues for quite some time.

At 48, the divorced father-of-two is 13 years older than the Materialists actress, and they were last pictured together as recent as May 19 taking a yoga class in Malibu near the six-bedroom mansion they bought for $12.5M in 2020 (pictured in 2021)

"Dakota wants to live her life very intentionally," an insider spilled to People on Monday. "She loves all her creative projects and is excited about her career, but she also believes there's more to life than just working. She wants a meaningful life on all levels."

This isn't the first time Chris has been linked to a younger woman - remember when he "consciously uncoupled" from Gwyneth in 2013? The couple had been married for over a decade and had two beautiful children together, Moses and Apple.

But what's truly fascinating is that Dakota doesn't seem too bothered about the whole situation. In fact, she's been focusing on her career and pouring her heart and soul into her upcoming projects. And we can't help but wonder if Chris has been feeling left out in the cold - after all, he did write a song called "My Universe" about his beloved Dakota!

'The split wasn't exactly a shock,' a source told People on Monday. 'They had the same issues for a while'

The seven-time Grammy winner is gearing up for Coldplay's highly anticipated $1.26 billion-grossing Music of the Spheres World Tour, which will be making its way to Canada's Rogers Stadium in Toronto on July 7-8 and 11-12.

Meanwhile, Dakota has been hard at work producing and starring in her next film, Splitsville, set to hit US theaters August 22 and everywhere else on September 5. The romantic comedy follows Julie, played by Johnson, as she navigates the ups and downs of love and relationships.

And don't forget about Materialists, the critically-acclaimed love triangle rom-com that's already raking in a whopping $31.4 million at the box office! Dakota stars as matchmaker Lucy alongside Kyle Marvin, Adria Arjona, and Covino himself.

Dakota evidently doesn't want to live with any regret, she 'wants to live her life very intentionally'

The talented actress has also been quietly working on her next big project - the psychological romance thriller Verity, set to hit US theaters May 15, 2026. The film will star Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett alongside Dakota as ghost author Lowen Ashleigh.

It's clear that Dakota Johnson is a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood, and we can't wait to see what she has in store for us next! Stay tuned for more updates from the world of entertainment, only on TheScholarlyNote.com.
