Cryptic Consent: Harry's Royal Wedding Request and the Queen's 'Floored' Response

Queen Elizabeth II told Lady Anson she was 'pleased that her grandson had found a woman to love who appeared to be able to return his intense passions'

ROYAL SECRETS EXPOSED: The Queen's Confidante Spills the Tea on Meghan and Harry's Wedding Drama!

In a shocking revelation, Lady Elizabeth Anson, the Queen's closest confidante, has spilled the tea on the behind-the-scenes drama surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's whirlwind wedding. And let's just say it's getting juicy!

According to royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith, writing for Substack Royal Extras, Lady Anson was more than happy to dish out her thoughts on the newlyweds. And what she had to say will leave you gagging! "We hope but don't quite think she is in love," Lady Anson allegedly told her cousin Ingrid Seward. "We think she engineered it all." Ouch!

But that's not all, folks! Lady Anson claimed the Queen was privately "very worried" about Meghan's intentions, saying she thought the actress was more interested in her royal status than actually loving Harry. And it seems like the Queen wasn't just blowing hot air – she reportedly made some telling remarks to Lady Anson about Meghan's dress choice for the big day.

Apparently, Her Majesty thought Meghan's Givenchy gown was "too white" and that it was inappropriate for a divorcee getting remarried in church to look so virginal. Talk about a royal seal of disapproval!

But back to the drama – Lady Anson claims the Queen was dismayed when Harry asked the Archbishop of Canterbury to perform the ceremony without first seeking permission from the Dean of Windsor. And things got even more heated when Harry refused to listen to his grandmother's concerns, leaving her "really upset" and feeling "saddened."

The cracks apparently appeared in February 2018, when Lady Anson claimed Harry wrote to her saying the Queen was "content" with the wedding plans – but what she really said was that she was "not at all content." It seems like Harry was trying to smooth things over, visiting Lady Anson alone and later writing to her with more wedding details.

But don't think for a second that Lady Anson was just a passive observer in this drama – oh no! She was right in the thick of it, warning the Queen about Meghan's potential to "turn into nothing but trouble" and advising Harry to be careful not to get overshadowed by his bride. And let's not forget her parting shot about Harry being "neither bright nor strong," while Meghan is both!

So there you have it – the tea has been spilled, and it's getting piping hot! What do you think, readers? Are you Team Meghan or Team Queen? Let us know in the comments below!
