Texas Floods: Country Singer Pat Green's Family Tragedy

In a heart-wrenching turn of events, country singer Pat Green has been left reeling after multiple family members were swept away in the devastating Texas floods. The singer's wife, Kori, revealed that their brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and two children tragically met their demise in the flash floods that ravaged Kerrville, a picturesque town about 270 miles from their home in Fort Worth.

A Family's Nightmare

The singer's brother John Burgess, sister-in-law Julia, and two of their children were tragically swept away by the flash floods in Kerrville, a town roughly 270 miles from their home in Fort Worth

As the search efforts continue to uncover the extent of the tragedy, it has emerged that John Burgess, 39, was found dead after desperately clinging to his two young sons as the waters engulfed the Blue Oak RV Park. His wife, Julia Anderson Burgess, 38, also lost her life in the floods. The couple's daughter, Jenna, was staying at a nearby camp that wasn't affected by the deluge and has been found safe, but is left to deal with the trauma of losing her parents and brothers.

Last-Minute Desperate Plea

According to eyewitness Lorena Guillen, John Burgess made a last-minute plea for help as he clung to a tree, trying to save his sons. "My husband was in the water trying to ask them, 'Please throw me your baby!' The man was holding tight to his babies, and he just got swept away," she recalled.
