Country music star Jason Aldean is no stranger to the spotlight, but it seems his family has been taking center stage this weekend. The 48-year-old singer's wife, Brittany Aldean, shared an update on Instagram about their six-year-old daughter Navy's health struggles.
According to a post on Brittany's social media account, she took Navy to Urgent Care over the weekend due to a "really high" fever. The mom of two captioned the photo with a dash of humor: "Love a little Urgent Care visit on a Saturday." The image showed Brittany sitting in a waiting room, seemingly unfazed by the situation.
But it seems that Brittany's update was just the beginning. In an exclusive clip obtained by The Scholarly Note, she shared more details about Navy's health scare. "Navy just has a virus and had a really high temperature," Brittany explained. "So I tried to let it run its course and it just wasn't ending, so we just went to Urgent Care."
However, the family didn't get the answers they were hoping for at the Urgent Care center. Brittany revealed that doctors told them there was nothing they could do but let the virus run its course. "And then we just waited hours for them to say, 'It just needs to run its course and there's really nothing you can do about it,'" she shared with her 2.6 million followers.
Brittany didn't let the weekend's events dampen her spirits. In a separate post on Monday, she shared a photo of Navy fast asleep on the couch, complete with a washcloth across her forehead. "Angel girl... hopefully on the back half of this mess," Brittany wrote.
Meanwhile, Jason Aldean was busy sharing updates from his own weekend. On Monday, he posted outtakes from a charity event called Heroes for Children. The country singer expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to raise $200,000 for the organization. "What a great weekend getting to hang out, play a little mini golf, and raise $200,000 for @heroesforchildren," Jason wrote.
But amidst all the excitement, fans couldn't help but wonder about Jason's personal life. After all, his family has been through their fair share of drama in recent months. In July, Jason faced backlash over his wife Brittany's post about her Christian values.
