Country Star Gavin Adcock Confronts Nickelback Sound Guy in Fiery Crowd Clash
GAVIN ADOCK: COUNTRY ROCKER'S REIGN OF TERROR CONTINUES
Gavin Adock, the 26-year-old country crooner with a penchant for getting into trouble, has done it again! This time, he jumped off stage and into the crowd at Rock the Country in Anderson, SC last Saturday to confront a sound technician working for headliner Nickelback.
DADDY'S BOY TAKES ON THE SOUND GUY
According to eyewitnesses, Adock's father Joe was having a great time watching the show with his relatives when he got into a heated argument with the sound guy. The situation escalated quickly, and Adock himself stormed off stage to confront the tech.
A TIKTOK TIRADE
Adock's expletive-filled rant against the sound guy has been making waves on social media, courtesy of TikTok user @life.with.lexiee. In the video, Adock can be seen shouting at the sound guy, calling him a "stupid a** bum" and threatening to kick his butt.
"I'm gonna lose my god* job if I don't f off right now," the sound guy is heard saying in the background.
FAMILY TIES
Adock took to TikTok again on Sunday to share more details about the incident, revealing that the argument started when the sound guy threw away a drink belonging to his acoustic guitar player's mom. Adock's dad intervened, and things quickly turned ugly.
"My dad stepped over and got in the dude's face," Adock explained. "And I just ran down the alley and told them, 'Nah, you ain't kicking my dad out, he's the one causing problems.'"
A HISTORY OF TROUBLE
This isn't the first time Adock has made headlines for his antics. Just last month, he went on a foul-mouthed rant about Beyoncé on stage, calling her music "not country" and threatening to come after her.
And if that wasn't enough, Adock was arrested in May for violating the open container law and reckless driving. He spent the night in Oconee County Jail as a result.
A PATTERN OF BEHAVIOR
Adock's Twitter history reveals a pattern of behavior that's more suited to a rebellious teenager than a 26-year-old country star. In 2023, he revealed that he was arrested for driving with a suspended license and spent 10 hours in jail.
"I made friends with my cellmates," Adock boasted on social media.
A ROCKSTAR'S REPUTATION
Adock's fans love him for his rowdy, whiskey-soaked shows where he flagrantly drinks booze onstage and climbs into the crowd to sing. But his behavior has also earned him a reputation as a loose cannon.
Despite his controversies, Adock remains one of country music's hottest young stars, with 5.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He's set to tour across the US this summer, including a stop at WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, MN on August 8.
A PERSONAL LIFE IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Adock has been dating social media influencer Haley Larkin for some time now. The two Georgia natives have been spotted together at various events and concerts.
As Adock prepares to release his third studio album Own Worst Enemy on August 15, fans are left wondering if he'll continue to push the boundaries of what's acceptable in country music. One thing's for sure: with Adcock around, you can expect drama, controversy, and plenty of excitement.
