Country Star Gavin Adcock Confronts Nickelback Sound Guy in Fiery Crowd Clash

Controversial country crooner Gavin Adcock jumped into the crowd gathered at Rock the Country in Anderson, SC last Saturday during his concert to angrily confront the 'sound guy' for headliner, Nickelback (pictured July 17)

GAVIN ADOCK: COUNTRY ROCKER'S REIGN OF TERROR CONTINUES

Gavin Adock, the 26-year-old country crooner with a penchant for getting into trouble, has done it again! This time, he jumped off stage and into the crowd at Rock the Country in Anderson, SC last Saturday to confront a sound technician working for headliner Nickelback.

DADDY'S BOY TAKES ON THE SOUND GUY

The unnamed crew member had allegedly given the hot-tempered 26-year-old's father Joe Adcock (L, pictured November 28) a 'hard time' and tried to get him 'kicked out' as he watched the show alongside other relatives

According to eyewitnesses, Adock's father Joe was having a great time watching the show with his relatives when he got into a heated argument with the sound guy. The situation escalated quickly, and Adock himself stormed off stage to confront the tech.

A TIKTOK TIRADE

Adock's expletive-filled rant against the sound guy has been making waves on social media, courtesy of TikTok user @life.with.lexiee. In the video, Adock can be seen shouting at the sound guy, calling him a "stupid a** bum" and threatening to kick his butt.

The next day, Gavin shared more details about the incident about the man he called 'dips*** of the week' with his captive, combined 2.1M social media following

"I'm gonna lose my god* job if I don't f off right now," the sound guy is heard saying in the background.

FAMILY TIES

Adock took to TikTok again on Sunday to share more details about the incident, revealing that the argument started when the sound guy threw away a drink belonging to his acoustic guitar player's mom. Adock's dad intervened, and things quickly turned ugly.

Adcock recalled: 'There was a drink sitting on the soundboard. It wasn't my dad's, it was my acoustic guitar player's mom's. Sound dude comes around the corner, sees the drink, slings it off the soundboard - it's empty by the way - and goes to cussing out my acoustic guitar player's mom. So my dad hears it probably about 5-10 yards away, steps over, gets in the dude's face'

"My dad stepped over and got in the dude's face," Adock explained. "And I just ran down the alley and told them, 'Nah, you ain't kicking my dad out, he's the one causing problems.'"

A HISTORY OF TROUBLE

This isn't the first time Adock has made headlines for his antics. Just last month, he went on a foul-mouthed rant about Beyoncé on stage, calling her music "not country" and threatening to come after her.

The If I Can't Have You singer continued: 'Once the sound guy was confronted by Gavin's father, he attempted to have security escort him out: 'I see them, and they are about to grab my dad. And I just run down the alley and tell them,

And if that wasn't enough, Adock was arrested in May for violating the open container law and reckless driving. He spent the night in Oconee County Jail as a result.

A PATTERN OF BEHAVIOR

Adock's Twitter history reveals a pattern of behavior that's more suited to a rebellious teenager than a 26-year-old country star. In 2023, he revealed that he was arrested for driving with a suspended license and spent 10 hours in jail.

The incident came a month after Gavin went on a foul-mouthed rant onstage about Beyoncé (pictured July 4) and her Cowboy Carter era: 'You can tell her we're coming for her f***in' a**! That s*** ain't country music and it ain't ever been country music'

"I made friends with my cellmates," Adock boasted on social media.

A ROCKSTAR'S REPUTATION

Adock's fans love him for his rowdy, whiskey-soaked shows where he flagrantly drinks booze onstage and climbs into the crowd to sing. But his behavior has also earned him a reputation as a loose cannon.

On May 21, Adock was arrested by the Tennessee Highway Patrol for violating the open container of alcohol law and reckless driving, leading him to spend the night in Oconee County Jail

Despite his controversies, Adock remains one of country music's hottest young stars, with 5.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He's set to tour across the US this summer, including a stop at WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, MN on August 8.

A PERSONAL LIFE IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Adock has been dating social media influencer Haley Larkin for some time now. The two Georgia natives have been spotted together at various events and concerts.

And it wasn't the Georgia native's first brush with the law as he tweeted about a prior arrest in 2023: 'Went to jail one time because of a suspended license, sat in there for 10 hours and made friends with my cell mates'

As Adock prepares to release his third studio album Own Worst Enemy on August 15, fans are left wondering if he'll continue to push the boundaries of what's acceptable in country music. One thing's for sure: with Adcock around, you can expect drama, controversy, and plenty of excitement.
