Country Star Ashley McBryde Launches Sober-Friendly Bar in Nashville

Country star Ashley McBryde has taken drastic action after bars became 'wildly unaccommodating' to her needs

ASHLEY MCBRYDE SHAKES UP NASHVILLE WITH REVOLUTIONARY BAR VENTURE: "REDEMPTION" TAKES CENTER STAGE ON BROADWAY

In a bold move that's got everyone in the music industry buzzing, country superstar Ashley McBryde is trading in her touring gear for a entrepreneurial spirit. The Grammy-winning singer, 42, has announced plans to open her own venue, Redemption Bar, in the heart of Nashville's vibrant Broadway scene.

But don't expect this to be just another watering hole serving up cheap beers and loud music. McBryde's vision is far more innovative – and refreshingly sober. With a three-year sobriety milestone under her belt, she's determined to create a space where non-alcoholic drinks are the norm, not an afterthought.

The Grammy-winning singer, 42, unveiled her plans to open her own venue - called Redemption Bar - in Nashville, Tennessee

"I've been to so many bars in Nashville that made me feel like I was an outsider just because I didn't want to drink," McBryde revealed to Rolling Stone in an exclusive interview. "It was time for someone to shake things up and create a space where everyone feels welcome – regardless of what's in their cup."

Located on the fifth floor of Eric Church's iconic Chief's building, Redemption Bar promises to be a game-changer. By day, it'll offer live storytelling sessions, zero-proof cocktails, and a cozy atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a long day. And by night? It transforms into a intimate music venue showcasing original songs from up-and-coming songwriters.

"It's all about giving these talented artists a platform to shine," McBryde explained. "Nashville is known for its cover bands and commercial hits, but I believe it's time to elevate the level of creativity and authenticity in our city's music scene."

The bar officially opens August 28 on the fifth floor of fellow singer Eric Church's Chief's on Broadway building

The concept of Redemption Bar was born out of McBryde's friendship with Eric Church, another Nashville trailblazer who's never been afraid to forge his own path. Together, they're combining their creative energies to bring a much-needed breath of fresh air to the city's nightlife.

"When I had the opportunity to make my mark on Broadway, I knew I wanted to create something that would lift up those often-overlooked talents and give them a chance to shine," McBryde gushed. "It's not just about me; it's about creating a space where everyone feels seen and heard."

As for the bar's unique offerings, think beyond the standard bar fare. Redemption will feature an impressive selection of zero-proof cocktails crafted with love and care by in-house mixologists. And yes, you can still get your hands on a beer or two – but only if you want to.

The response from fans has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing their excitement for this bold new venture on social media. "Ashley is not just a singer; she's a movement," one fan wrote. "I'm so down for whatever she does next!"

With her studio version of the live fan favorite Rattlesnake Preacher recently released, McBryde is currently on tour and has several stops left on the agenda before the year wraps up. But with Redemption Bar set to open its doors on August 28, Nashville can't wait to experience this revolutionary new concept for themselves.
