Coachella 2026 Reveals Star-Studded Lineup: Bieber, Carpenter & Karol G Headlining!
COACHELLA HEATS UP: JUSTIN BIEBER SET TO HEADLINE, BUT WILL HIS TROUBLED PAST HAUNT HIM?
The wait is over, folks! Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has finally revealed its star-studded lineup for this year's festival, and we've got the scoop. The 31-year-old pop sensation Justin Bieber will be making his debut as a solo headliner on Saturday, April 17-19 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
But before we dive into the juicy details, let's get one thing straight: this won't be Bieber's first rodeo at Coachella. He previously performed alongside Ariana Grande in 2019 and joined forces with Tems and Wizkid in 2024, but he's never personally taken center stage as the main event. And we can only assume that's about to change.
As Justin took to Instagram to announce his headlining gig, he captioned a photo of himself with a cheeky comment: "Member used to drive a Yukon." His wife Hailey Bieber chimed in with her own brand of humor, responding with "In the citayyy!" We can only imagine what's cooking behind closed doors (or at least within their luxurious Coachella accommodations).
However, this is not without its risks. Justin has been open about his struggles with substance use and erratic behavior in the past. And let's be real – headlining a major festival like Coachella comes with a lot of pressure. Will he be able to put on a show-stopping performance, or will his troubled past come back to haunt him? We can only speculate.
The rest of the lineup is just as impressive, with Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G taking on Friday and Sunday nights, respectively. Carpenter's got a personal connection to Coachella – she performed last year with her then-boyfriend Barry Keoghan cheering her on from the VIP section. And Karol G has some experience under her belt too, having taken the stage in 2022 alongside Becky G and J Balvin.
EDM sensation Anyma is set to make waves this year as well – he'll be presenting the world premiere of his show Æden on a separate stage, à la Travis Scott's epic 2024 performance. But that's not all; the Bunker debut of Radiohead Kid A Mnesia has been hinted at in tiny font at the bottom of the flier. Could this mean the British band is planning to perform their 2021 reissued album compilation live? Fingers crossed!
The full lineup boasts an impressive array of acts, including The XX, Nine Inch Noize (a collaboration between NIN and Boys Noize), Disclosure, Devo, Zexyy Red, Foster the People, Moby, Lykke Li, Groove Armada, and Slayyyter on Friday. Saturday's lineup features The Strokes, GIVĒON, Addison Rae, Labrinth, SOMBR, David Byrne, Interpol, PinkPantheress, and Green Velvet x AYYBO. And rounding out the weekend is Young Thug, Kaskade, Major Lazer, Iggy Pop, FKA twigs, Duke Dumont, Armin van Buuren x Adam Beyer, The Rapture, Black Flag, Röyksopp, and Model/Actriz on Sunday.
Last year's headliners were Lana Del Rey and Tyler, the Creator – Doja Cat also made an appearance. This year's performers are set to take the stage at a price: Weekend passes will range from $549-$1,299, and go on sale this Friday at 1pm ET. Whether or not Justin Bieber's past mistakes will come back to haunt him remains to be seen – but one thing's for sure, it's going to be an unforgettable weekend in the desert.
Get ready to party!
