Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood reportedly wasn't a strong believer in monogamy, with a new biography claiming he viewed marriage as 'a form of confinement' (Eastwood with late girlfriend Christina Sandera in 2015)

Clint Eastwood's Wild Love Life Exposed: The Maverick Icon's Scandalous Affairs and Marriages Revealed

The legendary Hollywood star Clint Eastwood has long been known for his tough-guy persona, but behind the scenes, he was a man who lived life on his own terms - including his tumultuous romantic entanglements. A new biography by author Shawn Levy, "Clint: The Man and The Movies," sheds light on Eastwood's complex personal life, revealing a trail of broken hearts, illicit affairs, and long-term relationships that left a string of children in their wake.

The revelations come as no surprise to those familiar with Eastwood's reputation as a ladies' man. But even the most ardent fans may be shocked by the sheer scope of his infidelities, which spanned decades and multiple marriages.

According to the book Clint: The Man and The Movies, Eastwood¿s friends were 'aware that he considered marriage to be a form of confinement, and he gave himself free rein when it came to other women' (seen iwth Sondra Locke in 1988)

Levy's biography draws on extensive interviews, reflections, and public and private insights into Eastwood's life, offering a candid look at the star's personal struggles and contradictions. According to the book, Eastwood viewed marriage as "a form of confinement," and his friends were aware that he saw it as an obstacle to his freedom.

This perspective is supported by Eastwood's own words, spoken in a 1963 Photoplay interview: "One thing Mag had to learn about me was that I was going to do as I pleased. She had to accept that, because if she didn’t, we wouldn’t be married."

Eastwood's first marriage, to Maggie Johnson, lasted over two decades but was marred by his numerous affairs. The couple separated in 1978 and finalized their divorce in 1984.

Long before he was even famous, Clint fell in love with a University of California student named Margaret 'Maggie' Johnson, (seen together in 1960)

But Eastwood's wandering ways did not end with the demise of that marriage. He went on to father eight children with six different women, including a daughter, Laurie, with another woman - a fact he allegedly didn't know at the time.

One of his most significant affairs was with stuntwoman Roxanne Tunis, with whom he had a daughter, Kimber, in 1964. This relationship lasted for 14 years and ended only when Eastwood began a high-profile romance with actress Sondra Locke, his co-star in The Outlaw Josey Wales.

Locke accused Eastwood of emotional abuse and professional sabotage after their 13-year relationship ended in a bitter lawsuit. She also claimed he pressured her into multiple abortions during their time together.

During his marriage, Eastwood began a 14-year affair with stuntwoman Roxanne Tunis (pictured), with whom he had another daughter, Kimber, in 1964.

Eastwood's love life continued to be marked by controversy, with reports of infidelity and public displays of affection. He fathered two more children - Scott and Kathryn - with flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves while still dating actress Frances Fisher, with whom he had a daughter, Francesca.

The tumultuous nature of Eastwood's relationships came to a head when his marriage to Dina Ruiz ended in 2014 after he was caught kissing her friend's ex-wife, Erica Tomlinson-Fisher. Shortly afterward, he met restaurant hostess Christina Sandera at his Carmel hotel, the Mission Ranch - a relationship that lasted for over a decade until her tragic passing in July 2024.

Throughout it all, Eastwood has never publicly confirmed the full count of his children or the number of relationships he was involved in. But one thing is clear: Clint Eastwood's love life has been as unpredictable and scandalous as his on-screen persona - a true Hollywood legend who lived life on his own terms.

Clint dated flight attendant named Jacelyn Reeves in the '80s, and they had two kids - a son, named Scott, in 1986, and daughter, named Kathryn, in 1988; (Jacelyn's seen with Scott in 2016)
