The football field may be her husband's domain, but it seems that new mom Olivia Culpo is the real MVP when it comes to caring for their newborn baby girl, Colette Annalise McCaffrey! The 33-year-old model and former Miss USA has been busy taking care of their little one at home while Christian McCaffrey, the star running back for the San Francisco 49ers, has been away at training camp.

In a heartfelt interview with thescholarlynote.com, McCaffrey opened up about life as a new dad, and let's just say he's clearly still in awe of his wife's multitasking skills. "She's been great," he gushed. "She's been so cool. … I feel guilty at times... I'm sleeping well in the hotel bedroom while she's doing the dirty work but super thankful for it and she's doing an incredible job."

But despite the challenges, she remained optimistic and even shared updates on her TikTok account. "Towards the end of two weeks of being really sick, I got a subchorionic hematoma," she revealed in a March post. "So at this point, I was so exhausted, like two weeks of just not being able to move and then all of a sudden just purging... It was a lot. It was heavy… I went to the doctor and it was really exciting to see that there was still a heartbeat."

Culpo's bravery in sharing her struggles has clearly inspired many fans, and now, with baby Colette on board, she's taking on motherhood like a pro. "We're going to miss him so much," she posted to Instagram Story earlier this month, as McCaffrey headed off to training camp. "Best daddy in the world goes to camp today. Everyone go wish him luck @christianmccaffrey."

As for McCaffrey, it seems he's been enjoying his time away from the gridiron - but let's be real, we're sure he's just as happy to have a break from all that tough-talking football talk. "Our families are helping out with the baby, which is great," he added in his interview. "We're trying to balance everything out, and it's not easy."

So what does McCaffrey think about being a new dad? Well, let's just say he's still getting used to the whole diaper-changing thing... "I've been holding her for hours at night," he confessed. "But Olivia is doing an incredible job taking care of our baby girl and I'm so grateful to have such an amazing partner."
