Chrissy Teigen's Controversial Cooking Tip: Kids on Counters with Shoes On!
EXCLUSIVE: Chrissy Teigen's Kitchen Chaos Causes Commotion!
The Queen of Social Media, Chrissy Teigen, has sparked outrage among her followers with a series of saucy snaps showcasing her adorable kids helping mom in the kitchen - and yes, you guessed it, they're rocking their shoes on the counter!
The 39-year-old supermodel, TV personality, and author is no stranger to sharing intimate moments with her four mini-mes, Luna (9), Miles (7), Esti (2), and Wren (23 months), whom she shares with husband John Legend. But this latest post has left many of her fans in a tizzy.
In the now-viral photos, Chrissy's youngest two, Esti and Wren, are seen perched on the kitchen counter, whisking eggs for an orzo carbonara recipe courtesy of Eric Kim's New York Times feature. And because why not? They're still wearing their Velcro trainers! Talk about a culinary coup!
While many fans swooned over the sweet scenes, others were left gagging at the thought of germs and bacteria lurking on that counter. "Am I the only one who thinks it's yuck? Dirty shoes on the kitchen counter!" wrote one disgruntled fan. Another chimed in, "Germs! Lol," while a third commenter quipped, "Always butts and feet on the counter and cutting board!"
Chrissy, however, seemed unfazed by the criticism, captioning the post with a proud declaration of the recipe's simplicity and perfection. "It tastes like you're high on the weed except you're sober. Amazing work 10/10!!!!" she gushed.
The Legend Family's Creative Crew
Meanwhile, John Legend has been dishing out some adorable updates about his little ones' latest pursuits. In a recent interview with This Morning (thescholarlynote.com), the 46-year-old singer-songwriter revealed that Luna and Miles are following in their famous father's footsteps by learning to play the piano.
But it's not just music that's got this mini-me moving - Luna, the eldest at 9 years old, has developed a passion for singing! "She takes piano lessons, she takes a vocal lesson every Saturday and then she was in the school musical, she played young Nala in The Lion King, and she really loves to sing," John gushed.
And if that wasn't enough, Luna's also got a flair for the dramatic - she built an entire dollhouse out of cardboard boxes for her younger sister Esti! "She can dance, and she can do all of it and she's also very visually creative, so she likes to draw and create these structures," John shared.
The Teigen-Legend Clan: Creativity Runs in the Family
As we've seen time and again, creativity runs deep in this talented family. When asked about how they encourage their kids' artistic sides, John explained that he and Chrissy are both creative souls themselves, so it's only natural for them to nurture those traits in their children.
"Both me and their mother are very creative, and we love music so we just try to encourage them to explore and try different things and be as creative as possible," he said.
And there you have it - the Teigen-Legend family: a household of artistic expression, where shoes on the kitchen counter are merely a minor detail in the grand scheme of things!
