"I'm back on the IVF hell train. I think this may be my last attempt," Chrishell wrote, accompanied by a photo of her Follistim Pen and the pen used to inject the hormone into her body. For those who don't know, the Follistim Pen is used to induce ovulation and stimulate egg growth - yikes!
The news comes after Chrishell revealed the painful side effects she's experienced during her fertility journey with G Flip, 31. In a candid interview, Chrishell shared that she's still recovering from a recent shot she had to give herself.
"I'm literally still bleeding from a shot I had to just give myself," Chrishell confessed to Us Weekly at the Tryst hotel opening in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Ouch!
But despite the challenges, Chrishell and G Flip remain determined to expand their family. The couple, who tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2023, have been open about their desire for kids and have taken medical steps towards making it happen.
The news is especially significant given that G Flip has been vocal about wanting children. In a May 2022 interview with PEOPLE Every Day podcast, they declared, "I definitely see children in my future... I love children. I was a music teacher for years before I became a session drummer and then a solo artist."
Chrishell and G Flip first met at a Halloween party in 2021 - just two years after Chrishell's divorce from This Is Us star Justin Hartley. They started dating in March 2022 and went public with their relationship that May, before getting married in secret the following year.
