Catherine Zeta-Jones & Michael Douglas: Love in Full Swing at St Andrews

Catherine Zeta-Jones and her husband Michael Douglas looked more in love than ever as they played golf together in St Andrews on Tuesday

SCOTTISH GOLFING HOLIDAY GETAWAY TURNS INTO ROMANTIC BLISS FOR HOLLYWOOD POWER COUPLE CATHERINE ZETA-JONES AND MICHAEL DOUGLAS

It's not every day that we get to see our favorite Hollywood power couple, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, looking as in love as ever. But that's exactly what happened during their recent golfing holiday in St Andrews, Scotland.

The couple was spotted teeing off on the second hole of The Old Course at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship 2025, and it's clear that they're still going strong after 25 years together. Michael Douglas, who turned 81 last week (yes, you read that right - 81!), looked every inch the dashing leading man as he wrapped his arm around Catherine, 56, to pull her in for a romantic embrace before taking their shots.

Catherine, meanwhile, was looking every bit the stylish golfer chick in her navy and black zip-up sweater and fitted trousers, paired with a black cap and sunglasses. Michael opted for a bright blue half-zip sweater and trousers that matched his wife's perfectly - we wonder if it was on purpose?

But what really caught our attention was their playful banter on the course. They were photographed fist bumping after taking a good shot, before walking off to the next tee. It's clear that they're still as smitten with each other as ever.

Their romantic getaway comes just days after Michael sparked mixed reactions when he referred to his wife of 25 years as his "birthday sister" in a heartfelt birthday tribute on social media. Yes, you read that right - "birthday sister". We can only assume it was a tongue-in-cheek comment, but some of their fans were left scratching their heads.

But Catherine wasn't having any of it. She replied with a gushing message, saying: "Happy birthday darling! I can't think of anyone else to share a birthday with." And she sealed the deal by posting a romantic tribute on her Instagram page, complete with throwback photos of them packing on the PDA for a photoshoot.

It's clear that Catherine is still head over heels in love with Michael, and vice versa. After all, they've been through thick and thin together - including a brief separation in 2013 after 13 years of marriage. But it seems that their love has only grown stronger with time.

As we reported earlier on TheScholarlyNote.com, the couple's fans were left stunned when Michael referred to his wife as his "birthday sister". But it turns out that they actually share the same birth month and date - September 25! How cool is that?

The couple's romance began in 1998, when Michael watched Catherine in The Mask of Zorro and knew she was the one for him. They met later that year at the Deauville Film Festival and got engaged just a few months later.

Now, as they prepare to celebrate their upcoming 25th wedding anniversary, it's clear that their love is still going strong. And who knows? Maybe they'll even take up golfing full-time together - after all, Michael seems to be getting the hang of it!

As for their children, Dylan and Carys (Michael also has a son from his previous marriage), they're clearly proud parents too. Their daughter, Carys, posted a sweet message on her mom's birthday tribute, while their son, Dylan, took to social media to wish his parents a happy anniversary.

In an interview with The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in 2015, Michael gushed about Catherine, saying: "It can't be a one-way street. But I'm crazy about her." And it's clear that he still is - even after all these years.

So here's to Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas - the ultimate Hollywood power couple who prove that love can conquer all, even in the cutthroat world of show business. Cheers to 25 more years together!
