Carson Daly Reveals Future Plans for Jenna Bush Hager’s TODAY Show Segment

Carson Daly has revealed a huge update on the future of Jenna Bush Hager 's segment on the TODAY show, just months after Hoda Kotb left her post as co-host

BREAKING: The TODAY Show Scoop!

In a juicy revelation, Carson Daly spilled the tea on Jenna Bush Hager's future at the TODAY show, leaving fans wondering if she'll be saying goodbye to her morning gig soon. Just months after Hoda Kotb left her post as co-host, the show has been experimenting with rotating co-hosts, including Scarlett Johansson and E! anchor Justin Sylvester.

But Daly, who's known for hosting The Voice, spilled some serious beans on what's in store for Jenna. In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, he admitted that NBCUniversal is considering keeping the rotation going - at least for now.

During a new interview with Us Weekly, Daly shared some insights into the future of the show

"I ask all the time, 'Who's gonna replace Hoda as a full-time co-host?' And I think they want to keep this rotating thing going," Daly dished. "I mean, why fix what ain't broke, right?"

But don't get too attached to those guest hosts just yet! While fans have been loving the variety, Daly hinted that some might not be able to make it a permanent gig.

"I've loved a lot of them, but I think they're trying to keep it fresh and exciting," he said. "I mean, Dwayne Wade was amazing, and Erin Andrews is always fantastic."

In January, Kotb left Today With Hoda and Jenna after five years on the show

However, one rotating guest who's been making waves is none other than Hollywood A-lister Scarlett Johansson. But don't expect her to join the show full-time anytime soon.

"Scarlett Johansson is everybody's favorite, but she happens to be Hollywood's most expensive actor," Daly revealed. "We can't afford her, but she loves doing it."

Despite some of these rotating guests being pricey or hard to land, Daly admitted that he's thoroughly enjoying the mix-and-match format.

Daly's comments come just days after Jenna admitted on-air that she had been thinking about her 'next chapter ' when the morning show comes to a close

"Jenna's had a lot of really good people on the show, and I kind of like the rotating cast," he shared. "It keeps things fresh, you know?"

But what about Jenna herself? Sources close to the TODAY show have hinted that she might be eyeing an exit strategy. Just last week, Bush Hager confessed on-air that she's been thinking about her next chapter.

"I've had a dream - I don't know how realistic it is - but when the Jenna & Friends chapter comes to a close..." she began before being cut off by co-host Matt Rogers.

"Wait, what? Why would that ever happen?" Rogers asked with a mix of shock and curiosity.

"Well... linear television, baby! Who knows?" Jenna laughed. "But when I'm ready to go to my next chapter, I think it would be so nice to move back to Texas and let my kids - I went to a big public high school - have a different life."

It seems like Jenna's got her sights set on Austin, Texas, where she grew up. Her husband, Henry Hager, and their three kiddos are already settled in the Lone Star State.

As for when this "next chapter" might come to pass, only time will tell. But one thing's for sure: we'll be keeping a close eye on Jenna Bush Hager's TODAY show adventures - and beyond!
