Cara Delevingne, Emma Corrin Shine at Ministry of Lesbian Affairs Afterparty
SPOTTED: Cara Delevingne, Emma Corrin, and Amelia Dimoldenberg Bring the Heat at The Ministry of Lesbian Affairs Afterparty!
In a night that was pure, unadulterated MAGIC, some of the most stylish and talented ladies in the game gathered to celebrate the launch of The Ministry of Lesbian Affairs – a groundbreaking play that's changing the face of representation for lesbians everywhere!
And who better to lead the charge than the incomparable Cara Delevingne, 32? This stunning supermodel and actress (who proudly identifies as queer and pansexual) cut a dashingly casual figure in her ensemble, pairing baggy black cargo trousers with a crisp white shirt and sleek trainers. But it was her bold accessories – think camouflage print baseball cap and blue rucksack – that really stole the show!
Joining Cara for an unforgettable night of merriment and celebration were fellow actor Emma Corrin, 29 (who uses they/them pronouns and is queer and non-binary), and host extraordinaire Amelia Dimoldenberg, 31. Emma looked every inch the fashionista in their striking red vest top with intricate horse design and matching blue jeans – while Amelia brought her A-game in a stunning black skirt, patterned T-shirt, and studded ballet pumps.
But it wasn't just the ladies who brought the glamour – Adwoa Aboah, 32, turned heads in her understated yet chic plaid T-shirt and black shorts combo, complete with a leopard-print bag. And Olivier-nominated theatre director Hannah Hauer-King? She was pure perfection in her crisp white top and trousers!
As for Cara, she's been open about her struggles with internalized shame due to the societal pressures of previous generations. In a recent interview with The Times, she revealed that growing up, she was led to believe that having a gay child would be seen as "something wrong." Talk about a weight lifted off her shoulders – and ours!
Of course, Cara's also spoken candidly about her high-profile relationships with women (hello, St Vincent and Ashley Benson!), and has even shared her take on what Pride Month should really be all about: choosing love, baby! On the Make it Reign podcast in 2021, she said, "Pride needs to be about choosing love... It's just love for your partner, love for your neighbour, love for yourself more importantly, and loving people you don’t know either."
