Brooklyn Beckham’s London Return: Is It All About Food or Family Feuds?

Brooklyn Beckham made another thinly veiled jibe at his family during a new video with renowned chef Michel Roux Jr. as the Beckham feud rumbles on

BECKHAM FEUD ERUPTS: Brooklyn's Slick Comeback Fires Warning Shot at Family

The drama-filled world of David and Victoria Beckham's family is once again under the spotlight, with their son Brooklyn Becker making a thinly veiled jibe at his estranged family in a new video collaboration with renowned chef Michel Roux Jr. The budding chef, 26, has been busy promoting his brand Cloud23, but it seems he's got more on his mind than just cooking up a storm.

In a recent Instagram post, Brooklyn was seen cooking up a gammon dish with Roux at the iconic Langham Hotel in London. But beneath the surface of their culinary escapades lies a deeper meaning - a clear dig at his family. The video, which has left fans and critics alike scratching their heads, shows Brooklyn wistfully reminiscing about his childhood favorite meal: gammon and chips.

Brooklyn's mother, Victoria Beckham, is infamous for her rather...unusual eating habits. She's been known to opt for steamed fish and vegetables on the regular, much to the dismay of those who think a bit of gammon never hurt anyone. Meanwhile, dad David Beckham is a dab hand in the kitchen, often whipping up a mean gammon and chips for the family.

But Brooklyn's fondness for this classic dish doesn't quite match his family's eating habits - or so it seems. As he quips about his love for gammon and egg and chips, one can't help but wonder if there's more to this than meets the eye. After all, his estranged family has been at odds with him for what feels like an eternity.

The tension between Brooklyn and his family began brewing around six months before his original wedding in 2022. Since then, things have only gotten worse, with sources close to the Beckhams claiming that they didn't understand why Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz felt the need to renew their vows three years after tying the knot.

The son of David and Victoria Beckham jetted to London from his Los Angeles home to film the video in the Wigmore restaurant kitchen at the Langham Hotel

"Three years? It's just a bit too soon," said one insider. "They're not exactly thrilled about it, but what can you do? The family has been trying to move on from this drama for ages now."

But Brooklyn and Nicola seem determined to prove that they're still as in love as ever - even if their families aren't exactly singing their praises. In a recent video, the couple was seen enjoying a romantic dinner together by the pool, with Brooklyn presenting his wife with a delicious-looking pasta dish.

The pasta sauce, cooked to perfection with what looked like seawater (yes, you read that right), was met with skepticism by none other than King Charles' former chef Darren McGrady. "It's ridiculous," he said in an interview with Heart Bingo. "If you're cooking in sea water, it's going to be much saltier than you need for pasta. It's going to have bacteria, viruses, all sorts of pollutants in there. It's not something anyone should do at home."

Brooklyn and his family were last pictured together on Boxing Day last year and he has seemingly not spent any time with them in the UK since then

But Brooklyn seems unfazed by the criticism, which has included a scathing review from celebrity chef Aldo Zilli earlier this month. "He's jumped on the bandwagon and needs a masterclass," Zilli said of Brooklyn's cooking skills.

It looks like Brooklyn is using his cooking videos to send a clear message to his family - that he's happy without them, and that he's doing just fine on his own. But will it be enough to ease the tension between him and his loved ones? Only time will tell.

In related news, Brooklyn has been spotted jetting back and forth between Los Angeles and London for work commitments, but there's no sign of a reunion with his family anytime soon. In fact, sources close to the Beckhams claim that they're not even in contact with each other right now.

But during a clip shared to his Instagram page, Brooklyn couldn't resist taking a swipe at his estranged family as he insisted the meal was the only thing he'd fly back for

"It's a sad situation," said one insider. "Everyone fears there's no way back now. It's done."

As for Brooklyn and Nicola, it seems they're more focused on their own relationship than any potential drama with his family. And who can blame them? With the stress of cooking up a storm in the kitchen and dealing with family drama, who needs anything else?

But one thing is clear - Brooklyn Beckham is not one to back down from a challenge. Whether it's cooking up a mean pasta sauce or sending subtle jabs at his estranged family, this 26-year-old chef is on a mission to prove himself as more than just the son of David and Victoria Beckham.

And if that means ruffling a few feathers along the way? So be it.
